Offering high-intensity Zumba/Dance Fitness classes at Prodigy Dance Studio and morning outdoor HITT training classes at the Boys and Girls Club in 4S.

Cool Chic Fitness, formerly The Z Factory, was started as a way to offer people the opportunity to take a high-intesity dance fitness class that was both challenging and fun. Over the past year classes have expanded into an outdoor interval training class that provides highly-impactful exercises that provide improved athletic capacity and strength. Beyond classes I look forward to sharing my knowledge about all things that pertain to health, happiness, and living a life of awesomeness.

Hey peeps:))...just wanted to give you a heads up that my hubs is working late and we have a baseball game from 5:30-7:30...so if I roll up at 8:00 don't worry...I will be there. See u tonight!

Hey peeps...Just wanted to give you all a heads up that due to thoughtful consideration and as a result of low weekly attendance for the past few months I am going to no longer be doing the Tues' class. Tonights class will be the last Tues night class.The class schedule will be Mon and Thurs at 8:00 and Sat at 8:30. I have also decided that as a result I will only be offering the 10 and 5-class cards...the only exception will be for those that have been coming to 3 classes a week consistantly over time. Sorry for the changes... but unfortunately I can no longer continue to maintain a schedule that is not very profitable...I hope you all understand...much love to you all:))

So we're officially throwing it down for tomorrow nights class...we're going all Latin, all Super Stars...we will be jamming out to Pitbull, Ms Jenny from the Block, and one Enrique Inglesias....so if you haven't been to class in a while this may be the class that gets you back in your groove...can't wait to jam with u, see u then!!!!!..xoxo

So we have a clear winner for our 30-day challenge...the winner is.....Melissa with an astounding 25,169 calories burned!!!!....seriously awesome:)...and I want to congratulate everyone who participated as I was super impressed with everyone's motivation...you guys rock!!!

Just a reminder that Starting tomorrow there is only one class on Sat...8:30-9:30...so if you have any friends that aren't following please let them know about the new start time...see you in maƱana!!!

So just a reminder that this will be the last week of the 2 class option on Saturday...starting next week we will be down to one class at 8:30.
We also have 10 days left of our 30-day challenge. It's been awesome to see how motivated you guys have been:)))...keep up the hard work!!!!

On Your Marks, Get Set, Go!!!!!!....30-Day Fitness Challenge has officially begun so get out there run, hike, or climb those stairs at work at lunch time or walk laps around the building... you just need to do it for 20 min to make it count. If you have any external fitness devices make sure you sync them with the app and really take a few minutes to explore the app if you haven't already because there is an extensive list of activities that you can get credit for...as long as your doing it for 20 min then your good to go. So lets get out, get moving, and start creating some healthy habits:)))))

Alright peeps..here's the deets on the 30-Day Challenge:

When: Feb 9th - March 10th

1. You must commit to attending class twice a week over the 30 days.
2. Down load MapMyFitness to your phone and create an account.
3. Make sure to send me a friend request on so that I can follow and track your activities and progress. ( Nicole Heverly , not Nicole Spaulding Heverly, is who you want to send the request to)
4. Once you set up your account you can start logging all your activities by selecting Log A Workout. All activities must be at least 20 min in duration.
5. To log class participation select Type, then select All above the Search bar and select Dance and then select Zumba and put in an hour for duration. (the app will only award 316 calories, manually change to 700 ).
6. There will also be a sign-in sheet at the beginning of class that you must sign to track class participation.

At the end of the 30 days I will tally everyones activities and calories burned and whoever kicks the most butt will be awarded a 5 class card. So make sure you log any walks,hikes,runs and any other classes you participate in and may the best one win!!! Let's Do This!!!!
