We sourced our coffee from one of our favorite roasters here in San Diego: . The beans were grown in Oaxaca, Mexico and are organic and Fair Trade. The base beer is a British-style Brown Ale, which has a toasty backbone that perfectly complements the lightly roasted coffee.

Oatmeal Irish Stout
5.1% ABV

Sometimes we take our beers to the extreme. Over a third of the recipe has roasted oats and toasted rye. This made for LONG and challenging day on the brewhouse, but it was worth the effort! Both ingredients give this beer a silky smooth texture, which helps to balance out the astringency provided by the deep roasted malts. Coffee and dark chocolate dominate the flavors of this delicious Stout.
