I posted this a couple of years ago and then pulled it down. Nature is indifferent. Great Blue Herons are extremely territorial. Poachers will not be tolerated.

I would be pressed to find a better way to spend National Son's Day than yesterday. Phil was down for the weekend and set to go home. He really wanted to catch a yellowtail on the surface iron. Mission accomplished . . . .then we got into the bonus round.

We decided to take the crew out yesterday afternoon for a crew trip. We had 50+ on the yellows and were just about ready to head home when the seabass started to swim through. Ended up with 37 seabass to go with our yellowtail for 15 family, friends and crew. Special afternoon on the water with some of our favorite people. Come on out and join us, we’ve got room this afternoon and the rest of the week
