Hello, friends. As each day begins, we are reminded that we do not know for certain what any moment may bring us as we walk forward, looking up and out at what is possible.
Grief operates similarly. It does not have a timeline. It does not have a masterplan.
In recognition of this, it is with gratitude and excitement that we share Reframing Grief Retreat with you. To be held in Sundance, Utah from June 19-22, 2025, Reframing Grief is an opportunity to give yourself permission to take a break from daily life to explore and understand the impact of grief from both living and death losses.
During this three-day, three-night experience, you will gather with others in a safe, beautiful space where all of your self and your grief are wholeheartedly welcome.
Together, we will learn more about how loss and grief affect our lives, relationships, and sense of self. Through gatherings, exercises, activities, and mind-body work, we will find solace, self-compassion, and inspiration to cultivate hope, grace, and new awareness within the realm of grief.
To learn more about this opportunity to open to the deep power of grieving as a path to true healing, integration, and transformation, please visit thehandholders.com (link in bio). As always, we are also available for direct connection and questions at [email protected] and [email protected].
All Our Love,
Lori Krause + Jen Belfield

Hello, friends. In the midst of struggle and grief, we may feel we are navigating an open land that we just need to diagnose, fix, or cure.
However, grief is not a disorder, illness, or pathology. It is a human response to loss.

The more we go through life, the more we encounter grief, whether personally or with someone we know. Let's honor our grief instead of pathologizing and/or trying to "fix" it.
