This is a special event for all!

We are here to Help during the PUSD campus closure.

On Friday October 9th TEMAS held a regional championship in San Diego, California USA. This event brought participants from in person and Zoom together for forms, weapons, self defense and in person black belt sparring. White belt through black belt displayed true warrior spirit, focus and excitement from across the region.

TEMAS Founder Kwan Jung Nim Manna shared on point and inspiring thoughts to those assembled. He dedicated this event to the decades of martial arts commitment of Kwan Jung Nim Salm of the Netherlands, who dedicated his life to family and the spreading of the Tang Soo Do legacy. Our condolences extended to his family.

This event was seamlessly presented with the support of the team of black belts under the supervision of Sr. Master Brandt and Sr. Master Manna held at Manna’s Martial Arts. This event was sanctioned by the Varsity Martial Arts League.

Last night!
TEMAS held it’s 7th Annual Gala, Interactive online silent auction and live Zoom live auction. I could not be more pleased and overwhelmed with the generosity and caring shown.
This year’s gala featured Aaron O’Brien/Magician on Zoom, 14 live auction items and 65 silent auction items. Chris Brandt/Sr. Master and Janet Manna/Sr. Master were killer. They worked diligently in front of, beside and following all at once, true GIANTS. Sue Huey and Jill McMahon supported hours of entering items and descriptions online.
What an event!! Thank you to each of the attendees for your participation and again your overwhelming generosity.

We at Manna’s Martial Arts continue to have the safety of our community in mind.
Due to the 3 week closure of the Poway Unified School District Manna’s Martial Arts will be offering Sports Camp Days Monday March 16 through Friday April 3 beginning at 7am and continuing to 6:30pm. These will be offered for children ages 5 and older. As expressed in the letter by the Poway Unified School District there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 or Coronavirus in the Poway Unified School community.

The support of generations of families and studio members fills me with a warmth of heart that brings me so much joy.
The new TEMAS Monogrammed Black Belts, the extraordinary exhibition, Gup members from 4 to 60+ and the support of the Black Belts, Master Instructors/Ko Dan Ja marks another milestone in the history of our studio and community.
Thank everyone for their display of true growth and spirit.

How great journeys are when paths intermingle. When a life’s path end we are honored, pleased and loved by some.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I share with the Manna’s family the passing of Larry Pennington: a great friend, an honorable man, a Manna’s Kickboxing Coach always at my side, a Manna’s and TEMAS Black Belt #337-0101. I know through meeting and sharing time with his family he was a great husband and awesome dad.

Words are short and to few to express the care Larry had for all around him. It has and will be through memories an honor to have been on journey together.
