Congratulations to all the performers on the Kids Fest Stage at McKinley’s 12th Annual SoNo Fest and Chili Cook-Off yesterday!

Thanks to a super generous donation from The New Children's Museum all of the performers will receive tickets to visit the museum! Lucky!

Shout out to and huge appreciation for Clare Crawford for volunteering as stage manager. She and Fiona did an excellent job emceeing and even had time to snap a quick pic with mayor Todd Gloria!

Come meet the players from the NP Seniors All-Stars team in a community celebration at 1 pm today Sunday Aug. 27 at in North Park. One of the banners from the team's three championships will be hoisted at 1:30 pm. NP Seniors went 12-3 on its All-Stars run, winning the District, Sectional and Southern California championships before strongly competing in the Western Regional tournament in Oakland, tied for runner up and finishing only three games away from the Seniors World Series. More importantly, it was an experience of a lifetime as the players, coaches and their families became one large family. Memories forever. Join us! Free, no rsvp needed. Please share!

The North Park Seniors lose a tough one, 5-2 to Los Altos, ending NP’s amazing run and the team’s dream season. NP finishes 12-3 and won the District, Sectional and Southern California championships. The team ends up as tied for runner up among Seniors All Stars teams in the Western USA. The best run in NP All Stars history. Thank you for the incredible community support and thanks to the players, fans and coaches for their dedication. We’ll be back!

The North Park Little League Seniors All-Stars Team (ages 15-16) has won both the local Section 6 and SoCal State Championship tournaments. This great group of kids has faced adversity again and again and keep coming back strong. The team is now headed to the Western Regional Seniors All-Stars tournament in Oakland.
