🎬 MY OFFICIAL PRESS KIT IS LIVE.

After 30+ years on the mat — and now behind and in front of the camera — I've put together my official Electronic Press Kit as an Actor, Stunt Performer, Fight Choreographer, and Stunt Coordinator.

From performing Stupid Human Tricks as a Stunt Performer on Beach MTV in Oceanside back in '93... to touring Western Europe with El Rompecabeza in 2002... to designing fight sequences and stepping in front of the camera for High Voltage and Rangers: Rise of the Je'daii with Black Monolith Films in 2023 — this has been one hell of a ride.

The EPK covers:
🥋 Film, TV & Theater credits
⚔️ On-camera weapon specialties — fi****ms, sword, knife & stick
🎙️ Media work — Pulling The Thread Podcast, Kick-Ass Dad Podcast, Blog World speaker

📋 Full martial arts lineage rooted in Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do through G**o Dan Inosanto & Sifu Paul Vunak

If you're a filmmaker, producer, casting director, or just someone who wants to know what Cali Combat Systems brings to a production — this is for you.

🎬 BTS Film Work — Fight Choreography, Stunt Work & Acting

What happens before the camera rolls? This playlist pulls back the curtain.

Over 30+ years in the martial arts — training under lineages rooted in Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do and Kali, through G**o Dan Inosanto, Sifu Paul Vunak, and others — I've had the chance to bring that real-world combat knowledge to film and television as an actor, stunt performer, fight choreographer, stunt coordinator, and 2nd unit production contributor.

My credits include Rangers: Rise of the Je'daii, Unspoken, High Voltage, Radio Free Nashville, Rompecabeza, and MTV Spring Break '93. You can find my full acting and stunt profile on IMDb and Backstage.

This playlist is a behind-the-scenes look at that work — the choreography process, on-set stunt ex*****on, performance prep, and what it actually takes to make action sequences look real because the foundation is real. JKD, Kali, Silat, Krav Maga, grappling — this isn't movie-martial-arts. It's functional combat translated to the screen.

Whether you're an aspiring stunt performer, action actor, filmmaker, or just someone who loves seeing how this stuff actually gets built — this one's for you.

Fighting Giants: How to Fight a Larger Opponent (The Kick-Ass Dad's Guide to Self-Defense) - Episode 1 04/29/2026

Size doesn't win fights. Strategy does.

In Episode 1 of The Kick Ass Dad: Talks Tactics, I'm breaking down what I learned growing up in the inner city — from kindergarten brawls to high school survival — and how my dad's advice changed everything.

We cover distance management, asymmetric tactics, de-escalation, and why most people train wrong. Whether you're a dad teaching your kids to stand up for themselves, or someone who just wants to stop being a target — this one's for you.

Chaos interruption protocol response framework:
1) Cover / Shield
2) Compound Attacks
3) Clinch
4) Control / Submit
5) Clear vs. Mass Attack

Here is a concept I'm developing that we will explore more at Cali Combat Systems:
1) Combat starts in Chaos
2) Our goal is to interrupt the Chaos
3) To regain Control to Dominate and Finish the Fight
In some ways this is the three fold process I've been trying to show but I'm going to start highlighting that more.

You can't have JKD Concepts without Original JKD.

Dan Inosanto stated, “There isn’t any difference between Jeet Kune Do, Original Jeet Kune Do and Jeet Kune Do Concepts. Whatever you want to call it. It’s the same. To understand the JKD Concept, you have to be trained in the Original JKD or Jeet Kune Do that Bruce Lee trained. As he says, JKD is a path to personal enlightenment.”

If you don't have Original JKD as a base what your doing is Mixed Marital Arts, JKD Concepts is the Filter for developing your personal JKD based upon having Original JKD as the foundation, any other foundation is just Mixed Marital Arts. JKD Concepts uses Original JKD as its base set of curriculum.

"Jun Fan Gung Fu As Developed By Bruce Lee Has A Definite And Set System Of Progression And Material To Be Taught And Learned. Jeet Kune Do Was Conceived By Bruce Lee As His Personal Form Of Combat Based On His Research And Findings. It Can Be Taught, But It Can Not Be Standardized, Because Each Individual Has Different Needs" - Dan Inosanto

"JKD is a process. It has been stated that Jeet Kune Do is a process of elimination and not accumulation of Knowledge. But it must be remembered that this is a Process and not a Product. The Key Word here is PROCESS. You are constantly, throughout your entire life accumulating and then eliminating what is Useful and not useful in your life." - Dan Inosanto

"Jun Fan Gung Fu Is Bruce Lee’s Base System and is a Set Curriculum of Material Jeet Kune do is from:
1. Exploration
A) Internally from within yourself Internally from within your school (system)
B) Externally from what others do in your school Externally outside of your school (system)
2. Research
A) Internally from within yourself
B) Internally from within your school (system)
3. Experimentation Knowledge from creativity and discovery." - Dan Inosanto
