So I know this can't always happen at every hour of the day becase life gets in the way...
But have you thought about *why* you think about some things more than others throughout the day?
My guess is you think more about your
- money stress
- health and wellness goals
- overwhelm in the office
- uncomfortable convo you just had with a friend
- lingering work you haven't done yet...
..than you do about the fun things coming up like your dinner plans, happy hour with your girls, weekend beaching/hiking/exploring, travel plans, etc.
💭Why is that?
Our brains are wired to focus on the negative because those tend to take up more space in so many of our brains because they have more willpower. Which doesn't make any sense.
IDK about you, but I want to focus on the good. The fun. The things that makes me laugh and smile.
If you're stressed about something, it's likely taking too much space in your brain and thus taking too much of your focus away.
Is there something you could do now to help remove that stress? To help you get back to focusing on the good in your life?
Drop a 🔥🔥 if this sounds like something you want.

Some weird thoughts popped up this weekend...
About accountability.
About owning my time.
About loving myself.
About being there for myself.
About being okay in my own skin.
While there were some amazing things I got to experience over the weekend, it's good to remember that not all moments are going to be happy and cheerful.
There are some moments that are going to be hard and that's okay. We can't be perfect 24/7.
But when you remember that HOW you show up to those moments is what dictates what shows up for you, you can be present and ok in any situation✨

Do you believe in yourself? Like really truly believe in what you're capable of?
Your mind isn't a passive observer...
So, if you think to yourself that you can't do something, your brain will also signal to your body that you can't do it.
On the flipside, if you believe in yourself, you can make anything happen✨
What will you make happen with your thoughts?

Yesterday, when I asked which area in your life you would like more confidence, it was almost exactly an even split between all 4 options:
▪️ Mindset
▪️ Career
▪️ Physical appearance
▪️ With friends/family
Confidence affects everyone in different ways. While your confidence levels vary from place to place, know that you're not alone and that there may be some barriers holding you back which you haven't even uncovered yet.
Some of these barriers could be:
1. Self-defeating assumptions. When was the last time you were stressed or worried about something and you actually said loud and proud "I CAN do that!!"? Usually, I hear "I can't do that..." or "That's not something I've tried before, can you ask someone else?" You can do anything you set your mind too--even if it takes a little longer to learn how🤓
2. Comparison trap. No-brainer on this one. IG makes it easy to jump into the comparison trap on the daily... Just remember that you have no idea what goes on in others' lives behind closed doors🙏
3. Blaming others. So so so so so easy to do. It's never your fault right?? Honestly, this is something that I've struggled with in the past where I didn't want to take responsibility for things not working because it was easier to deflect. Opening up and honoring these thoughts as just thoughts that will pass was a big game-changer for me to actually own the situation and make a change👏
4. Defensiveness. Goes hand-in-hand with blame. We've all been defensive a time or two when something doesn't quite go the way we want it too. I know you have too...don't lie🤔
5. Goals that are too big or distant. How easy is it to walk away from something that feels hard and you don't feel confident in because it seems like too much work? Rather than walk away completely, try to reframe it. Can you break them down into smaller goals--into milestones that are easier to accomplish?📝
*Open space to share here completely FREE of judgement* Which of these 5 have you found yourself doing more often?

"I'm not ready." "I'm too nervous for that." "I don't feel confident in myself." "I'm not good enough."
Say whaaaaat! I hear these over and over again and it is simply just not true.
- Why are you not confident in your own growth?
- Why do you feel like you are undeserving?
- Why aren't you ready?
Yes, growth is hard. Setting boundaries and making change is not easy. It's uncomfortable. It takes you out of your comfort zone.
But which is worse: staying uncomfortable where you are or choosing a better life?

How do you respond to change? Does fear of the unknown stop you from following your dreams?
Nothing good happens overnight. It takes time. Patience. Hard work. Dedication. Love.
