Celebrating our 10-Year Gala Recital, we reflect on a decade of growth, artistry, and community. From the very beginning, our students have taken their first steps in dance with courage and curiosity, developing not only their technique but also their confidence, discipline, and love for the art form. Over the years, we have watched them grow from beginners into strong, expressive performers, supporting one another as both dancers and teammates.
This milestone performance honors every class, rehearsal, and moment of progress that has led to today, while also looking ahead to the future. As we move forward, we remain committed to nurturing each student’s individual journey and continuing to inspire the next generation of dancers to dream, grow, and shine on stage.

Julia McCullock is a contemporary dancer, choreographer, and educator whose work explores the intersection of physicality, emotion, and structure. She currently performs and teaches with Backhaus Dance and Pearl Street Dance Collective, and previously served as a rehearsal director and company dancer with Twopoint4 Dance Theater, where she trained extensively in floorwork and vertical dance.
Her choreographic voice is rooted in dynamic floorwork, improvisation, and the human experience—blending modern and concert dance traditions. Her recent works include Source Text (2026, Pearl Street Dance Collective) and Every Waking Moment (2025, Water Street Dance Company).
As an educator, Julia teaches across California, developing programs that emphasize artistry, technical strength, and creative exploration.
This is an incredible opportunity to learn from a truly inspiring artist—don’t miss it!
