Today's WOD is a perfect combo of metabolic conditioning and strength.
Light weight barbell movements are a great way to get in metabolic conditioning as well as warming up for heavier lifts. Combined with double under jump rope and burpees, this 16-minute AMRAP is sure to get your heart rate up!
You'll be primed to work on a heavy Hang Squat Sn**ch afterward.

โSince stepping foot at Turnpoint, I can 100% say I am a better athlete. Being surrounded by amazing coaches and and other athletes has made it so much fun to crush WODs everyday.
A HUGE bonus is that my husband and I get to do this together. He is so good at this sport and getting to workout beside him is very motivating. Sometimes I even get to beat him at a WOD or two๐. He makes me want to perform at my best, pushes me to go out of my comfort zone, and always cheers me on.
What more can you ask for... a great community to be around and getting to work out with my best friend doing something we both love together โค. 10/10 recommend CrossFitting with your significant other!โ

โWorking out at Crossfit Turnpoint as a couple has been one of the best experiences. To be with someone who shares the same interests and goals as you brings each other closer together. Being able to hang out at home or at the gym is amazing.
Working out with my wife challenges, and motivates me to push myself more and more everyday. Its awesome to have that friendly competition during workouts to beat each other and have bragging rights until the next day.
Its also been a blessing to see someone you love, develop new skill sets, lift heavy or hit new PRs. Also seeing their confidence grow in and out of the gym is pricelessโ
