LONG live the ILTT!!! It was a really great year for catching Marlin and lots of Marlin activity if you were willing to go the distance. We had boats that had many chances up there around grid 29 and 3 boats in particular took full advantage of those chances.

First place with 5 released Marlin was the Drop Back with Bob, Nico and Jason on board. They had an absolutely awesome weekend and found the right spot of fish. Day two everyone found them and the bite slowed down drastically.

The Marlin Jackpot went to the Concubine with Skete, Tom and Mark with the most points on a single fish totaling 225 points for a fish released on 20lb test. They released a total of 3 Marlin for the two days and had 562 points.

Third place and only one point separating 2nd and 3rd was the Snooper with Rich, Chris and Jim whom came in at a total of 561 points and 3 released Marlin.

First place Tuna went to Lawless with Justin and crew bringing in 3 Tuna with the largest being a Yellow Fin Tuna at 36.4 lbs and two that went 16 lbs caught by a Jr. angler. Second place was Get Knotty with Miguel Martinez bringing in a 25.6 lb Bluefin Tuna.

Over all a very successful tournament with a great raffle after the awards dinner. Thank you to all who participated in the tournament and those who came down to share in the festivities at the club on Sunday.

And of course, a HUGE thank you to our beloved sponsors who keep the club moving forward!!!

What fun we had watching all the Juniors catching fish at our annual Juniors Tournament last weekend! We had both a dock division (where kids could fish off of the dock) and a boat division (kids could fish on a boat) with various fish weighed in at the scales. The Juniors Tournament is near and dear to us as it helps to introduce and teach the next generation about this great sport that we love and a way for our youth to feel connected to the club. It really was great seeing all of the smiles and the spirit of competition:-)

Of course, it takes a village...and we would like to thank all of the sponsors of this year's tournament: Anglers Choice, Everingham Bros Bait, Squidco, The San Diego Sportfishing, The Liberty Sportfishing, The Premiere Sportfishing, Taco Bell, Dana Landing, Big 5 Sporting Goods, Costa Sunglasses, Pelagic, Fisherman's Landing and H&M Landing...THANK YOU!!! And also, a big pat on the back to all those who came down to help the kids catch fish, secure bait, and make sure they all had a great time. AND a shout out to Roger Evraets for getting all of our loaner fishing poles repaired, fresh line and ready to go!

Check out a few pics from all of the action below.

We are already looking forward to next year...and speaking of, we would love to have a corporate or family sponsor to assist with t-shirts, pizza, etc. for next year's tournament as this is a free event for all junior anglers. If you have any interest or ideas to help with that please reach out to us!!!

Thanks again,
Corey Crosby (Tournament Chair)
