The 24th Annual Spring Shootout Fishing Tournament is almost here, and we want to remind all teams that the mandatory Captain's Meeting will be held this Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 5:30 PM at The Marlin Club.

Please note: The Captain's Meeting begins at 5:30 PM, not 6:00 PM as previously advertised.

Each team is required to send a representative to attend the meeting. This will be your opportunity to:

• Complete any remaining registration requirements
• Enter optional tournament jackpots
• Review tournament rules and procedures
• Ask questions before tournament day
• Receive important updates and final event information

Tournament officials will review fishing boundaries, weigh-in procedures, jackpot categories, and other key details.

OK folks, we are a week away from the Spring Shootout...

"The offshore bluefin bite is already producing triple-digit counts and fish pushing 150–180 pounds, while yellowtail fishing continues to build. If current conditions hold, anglers could be looking at some of the best early-summer tuna opportunities we've seen in years."

Registration is open for the 24th Annual Spring Shootout Fishing Tournament, and with the way the offshore season is shaping up, this is one tournament you won't want to miss.

The Spring Shootout returns next Saturday, June 6, 2026, bringing together some of the best anglers in Southern California for a day of competition, jackpots, and what we hope will be an incredible early-season tuna bite.

The bluefin have been making a strong showing offshore, and if current conditions continue, we could be looking at some serious fish hitting the scales. Whether you're chasing foamers offshore or targeting local favorites, this year's tournament offers plenty of opportunities to compete and win.

Tournament Highlights
🎣 Optional High Boat Jackpot – $500 per boat

🐟 Optional Tuna Jackpot – $100 per angler

🐟 Optional Yellowtail / White Seabass / Halibut Jackpot – $50 per angler
