Who do you fight for?

A client asked me what my goal in life is?

As much as I want to say it’s to make an impact in this world through fitness and health, I realized the single most important thing for me is being a good father.

Working to be better every day and to learning to be a better father is what truly drives me to push through things.

I fight for my kids and my wife.

And fighting means being a better trainer, a better business man, a better person, a better partner, and ultimately, a better father ❤️

Keep moving forward 👊🏾

Rise and grind.

I’ve been enjoying this weeks training and continual commitment to being better each and every day.

Priority has been finding balance for family time, building a business, training, and just enjoying the simple things in life.

Life is good.

Keep moving 👊🏾

How to find your “WHY”

Motivation is fleeting if you don’t understand your purpose.

These are some questions I ask myself daily.

I’ve learned this from reading and learning from highly successful people.

Here are 3 books I’d recommend.

“7 habits of highly effective people” - steven covey

“Think and grow rich” - napoleon hill

“Start with why” -

Be the best version of yourself…

… Or at least work to be better everyday.

Here’s a video about my “WHY” that was captured beautifully by the team.

We all have a history, our reasons, our deep inherent motivations, our expectations, our realities, and our dreams and goals.

Thank you for capturing this for me and my family.

This video was done about 6 weeks before my father passed away. Emotions are still high. I’m still in somewhat disbelief and wish for more better days with my father. But I am truly grateful for all the moments, experiences, and lessons learned from my father.

If there is one thing I’ve learned from him, is to make the most of each and everyday. Make the most memorable experiences and don’t ever waste a good day.

Grind. Gratitude. Growth.

Let’s keep moving

Want to lose weight?

Here are 3 things to consider.

1. Train moderately - beating yourself everyday is not going to get you where you want. Select the exercise and program based on your goals.

2. Eat appropriately - eat appropriately to your goal and exercise selection. For instance, want to starve yourself? Go ahead, but it would be best to no do heavy lifting or intense training. Want to lose weight but feel healthy? You’re going to want to eat more caloric dense food then you realize.

3. REST JUST AS HARD - and by that I mean, rest just as hard as you train. Resting is where the magic happens. Want to train hard? Your recovery should reflect it. Can’t get a good nights rest? Probably should focus on stress management instead of the HIIT.

Keep these in mind you’ll be highly successful.

Blood. Sweat. Respect.

The first two you give, the last one you earn -

How cool is it to see yourself next to the man himself!?!

I had the opportunity to speak with producer about my experience with

I spent a full day with the doing what I love. I coached, worked out, reflected on my journey, explored future possibilities, paddled, and finished the day at the beach with my family.

My experience exemplified that I am on the right path in this life 🌎

There is so much I want to accomplish and as long as I continue to follow my heart, pursue my passions, and never give up I know that day will come.

Thank you to all who continue to believe in me, support my endeavors, and entrust me on guiding you in your health journey.

Thank you to for being a positive influence in this world and for giving me the opportunity to share my message 🙏🏾

But real question is, who wore this tank better? 🤔

lol.

🙏🏾 Thank you ❤️

For all the love, prayers, and support these past few weeks.

Death is difficult but when family and friends come together to make the most of the situation it becomes a beautiful process. Relationships become stronger and we are reminded life is too short for for anything but love towards one another.

I miss my father but my heart is full ❤️

Thank to all 🙏🏾

This painting is my all time favorite from my father. It’s titled “find the Apple.” My father lives though his children and his vibrant artworks.
