The San Diego Diplomacy Council recently hosted a delegation of senior officials and experts from across Eurasia for a program on US-European Security Challenges as part of the Department of State and International Visitor Leadership Program. The group engaged in timely discussions on San Diego's leadership in global security and economic competitiveness, gaining insider understanding into how our leading companies and organizations are working with transatlantic partners to address shared challenges in a rapidly changing world.

At SDDC, we’re so grateful for the opportunity to connect with such inspiring emerging leaders from across the Americas and to share meaningful moments of connection, conversation, and cultural exchange along the way. Diplomacy begins with dialogue 🌎✨Jess Mull and Isaac Finestone represented the San Diego Diplomacy Council at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, sharing the importance of cross-border collaboration, youth leadership, and diplomacy in building stronger communities. Inspired by the momentum of the Binational Youth Summit, they also shared their vision for the next summit in Tijuana.

San Diego Diplomacy Council are happy to share two upcoming events organized by our citizen diplomats: the Shield of Freedom Event in Coronado on Sunday, May 17, and a special Meet & Greet with Lebanese Member of Parliament and renowned scientist Najat Aoun Saliba on Saturday, May 16 at St Ephrem Maronite Catholic Church in El Cajon.
