I've been a Private Clientele Professional Personal Trainer since 2008 in San Diego. I received my degree in Sports Science and Health at the University of Richmond Spiders, in Virginia. I AM NOT your typical jock-head personal trainer that decided to get into this business fro
m off the streets - I studied this all 4 years during college. I also played 5 years of college football for the University of Richmond, and after my college career I played in the NFL for 4 years with Carolina, Green Bay, Minnesota, and finally Houston. I've been around training athletes (and non-athletes) for over half of my life. My clients have ranged from the ages of 13 years old all the way up to 80 years old. I adapt to the people I work with. That's what I excel at, and that's I have long-term, long-lasting clients, and I personally, as well as my clientele love doing different workouts - which is every workout - on different days - even if it's with the same client. Three things to consider: I can come to you, you can come to me at my gym where I live in East Village Downtown San Diego, or we can meet at parks / go outdoors, pretty much anywhere. I'm a private personal trainer - so I do not train in or at any gyms anymore. I stopped doing the gym thing about 10 years ago. The trainers that most gyms hire are just not up to par, and personally, I like being alone with my clients. We don't have to wait / work around equipment in the gyms, and nowadays there are just too many show-offs in and at the gyms in San Diego County. My standard equipment, even for myself, is resistance bands, TRX, your own body weight, a big bag full of weights and dumbbells and jump ropes, and different types of cardio exercise equipment I use for outdoor training. I can guarantee you that training with me on resistance bands and / or the TRX will get your heart rate up, up, and up and you'll feel like you just had the best workout of your life in a big box gym.
