These players travelled across their continent and to one of the most competitive country to proof there’s tons of talented players in USA and Mexico, with better opportunities to achieve the pro level in Brazil than in their homeland countries.
These players got an opportunity above many of Brazilian players wish and fight for an opportunity at Grêmio Academy to achieve their dream of becoming a professional footballer.

Our players will now train inside Grêmio Development Academy Training Center and pass through the last step of the club scouting evaluation.

After two games well played in Brazil, our scouting squad had the opportunity to go watch the professional first team playing at the Grêmio Arena Stadium.
Our players were impressed with the fans the enthusiasm, passion and support to the team.

It was a marvelous experience and also what is expected to be a Grêmio professional player representing the club.
Definitely our players will go to the next show case pro match against Grêmio Academy looking forward for an opportunity sigh a contract and join the club base categories.

Our squad had a tough game against Grêmio Academy, despite the rough game some of our players performed very well individually and got the attention from Grêmio Academy Directors.

The pro trial evaluation is not by how the team plays but focused in the individual performance of each player being seeing at the field.

Our scouting squad played the first pro trial show case game against Associação PGC a Brazilian Academy inside Grêmio’s Professional Academy in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

Both squads are being observed by Grêmio scouts and directors and being evaluated with the opportunity to be selected to join the academy with the opportunity of a signing a contract with the club.

The majority of our players have been scouted in Tijuana during a scouting process.

Our squad have a great performance and some players individually brought a good attention to the Grêmio staff.
Our boys won the game for 6x2 celebrating their first win against Brazilian academy.

Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense is one of the most traditional football clubs in Brazil and worldwide. The club was founded in 1903 in Porto Alegre, state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The club has more than 120 years of history and it has achieved major titles such as the 3x Copa Libertadores and the FIFA Club World Cup in 1983.

In it is first years of existence, a state championship still did not exist in Rio Grande do Sul, but the Gremistas already stood out in the disputes of titles of lesser expression, like the Wanderpreis Cup and the Citadino Championship of Porto Alegre. In his first match against the International Sport Club in 1909, the Grêmio thrashed by 10x0. The confrontation, which years later would be immortalized as Gre-Nal, is for many the greatest rivalry in Brazilian football. The gaucho championship would only be created in 1920, won by Guarany de Bagé. However, the Tricolor won the next two editions, being the first two-time state champion.
