We did it. USD basketball knocks off the Aztecs at Petco Park. The City Chip is ours. To every Torero fan who made the USD student section somewhere to be tonight, keep it up. To our team and Coach Lamont, thank you for making us proud. And to those who weren't there today because you doubt USD athletics, those who complain about school spirit but don't show up to support your school and your fellow students, think again next time. In case you haven't heard, AS is currently giving away 250 free tickets to the Petco Park basketball game at the JCP ticket office. For those of you who purchased tickets in advance, you will be rewarded for your loyalty with a VIP court-side experience at a Toreros basketball game later this season.
