Mammoth this weekend?
Chair 2 (9AM-4PM) and Chair 16 (10AM – 4PM) will be open Friday – Sunday
· Huge message. When we have 600+ riders on-hill, it helps spread the crowd out and is a great addition to those looking to ride our downhill trails without having to pedal/traverse across the mountain. When communicating BP happenings this is the message I lead with.
Trails opening this week:
· Skid Marks – Another must ride Mammoth trail for the Advanced/Expert guest. This trail begins on top of the Lakes Basin lookout and descends down through the steep, rocky terrain found on the ski runs Dave’s Wave and Roma’s. This trail connects with other trails offering access to McCoy Station, the top of Chair 16 and all of the trails on the east side of the mountain. The trail currently cuts through two massive snow banks, which is a super cool experience.
· Pipeline – Very popular jump trail. Finishes at the bottom of Chair 4 allowing guests to take Smooth Operator or Sh***un down to Chair 16/Canyon Lodge. Pipeline is a great trail for guests looking to learn how to jump, as there are a number of smaller tables next to larger ones offering an easy way to progress. Pipeline + Smooth Operator = 32 jumps/features
· White Bark – Short trail accessed from Kamikaze (right at the bottom of White Bark Ridge on the road towards Reds Lake). One of the few advanced trails we offer with a few jumps and drops that offers a nice change to the Kamikaze Fire Road.
· Middle Richter – Short, rocky single track accessed from lower Kamikaze or Chair 11. This is an interesting trail with the key component being that it is accessed, and lappable from Chair 11. The lower section of Richter remains closed due to the spring that popped up at the bottom of the Front Porch (the wooden feature you can see from the bottom of Chair 11).
· Roma’s Road – New road that switches back down the face of Chair 5. A great diversion from Toll Road which is terrifying (STEEP field of scree).

Does anyone have pictures from the top of Mammoth showing how much snow is on Skidmarx?
