New guest instructor announcement for our upcoming Adult Ballet Intensive!
We are thrilled to welcome Michelle Cronje Hopper, a native South African. She performed as a professional dancer for over 16 years. After immigrating to the US, she joined Cirque du Soleil as a featured character “La Belle," in the Mystère show for seven years. She is both an ABT Certified Teacher and a certified Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) Teacher. Michelle is excited to be a part of our faculty this summer.

Introducing Jenny Asseff, as one of our guest instructors for this summer's Adult Ballet Intensive!
She will be teaching Ballet (one day only)!
With over 25 years of teaching experience, Jenny has worked with students of all levels at institutions including California Ballet School, Golden State Ballet and Academy, and the ABT Gillespie School at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Jenny has presented original works in San Diego and Tokyo and co-founded Ballet Collective SD. She holds a B.A. in Dance from Catholic University of Daegu, South Korea, and is ABT-certified. She is a former dancer with the California Ballet. Jenny is looking forward to sharing her love for ballet with all participants.

We are excited to introduce Hector Figueredo as one of our guest instructors for this summer's Adult Ballet Intensive in San Diego!
He will be teaching Ballet, Pointe, Repertoire, and Variation!
Distinguished choreographer, ballet master, and artistic director with over three decades of international experience in the performing arts. Recognized for contributions to classical and contemporary ballet, Hector has collaborated with renowned institutions, developed original choreographies, and provided artistic leadership to companies across Cuba, Latin America, and Europe. A member of UNESCO's International Dance Council and recipient of multiple awards, his career exemplifies excellence, innovation, and cultural impact in the world of dance. Hector is looking forward to sharing his expertise and artistry with all participants.

Eureka is a powerhouse dancer, actress, model and world traveling instructor. Current faculty member of Broadway Dance Center and CAP21 Molloy University Theatre Arts program, she also has created various programs for dancers all over the world through her platform Eureka Body. Eureka has worked as assistant choreographer with living legends Glenn Close and Wynton Marsalis for Jazz at Lincoln Center, Transformations. She was featured as principal dancer in Conway the Machine's music video ʻJohn Woo Flickʼ. Choreographer and dancer in a Purpose Award Winner film Time to Pause featured in Gothenburg Film Festival and Shetland Film Festival. Dancer for Raindance Immersive Award Winner production Cosmos Within Us. She has danced productions with Philadelphia Ballet, Dance Lab NY and numerous New York City based companies. Previously founder of her ballet studio in Japan, she has traveled internationally throughout Asia, Europe, Middle East and Americas. Other teachings: Capezio, Body Wrappers.

Attention, adult dancers!
We are thrilled to host a 3-day Pas de Deux Intensive at the beginning of the New Year, only for you!
All participants must have prior partnering experience, with at least one class taken in the last year.
Dates & Times
JANUARY 2nd, 3rd & 4th
9:30am - 12:30pm (includes a 10 min break between warm-up and pas de deux)

Our focus during this winter intensive would be to strengthen your already existing technique/skills while teaching you new and more challenging combinations. Ladies should expect being lifted off the ground by your partners, as well as doing one-handed promenades and more complex turn exercises. We will provide you with personalized attention, constructive feedback, and valuable insights to enhance your pas de deux training. As always, we will have both male and female professionals assisting you throughout.
Note: As a BONUS, we might teach you excerpts of a well-known Pas de Deux from the classical ballet repertoire.
Requirements:
* Ages 18+
* At least 5 years of ballet training. Intermediate/advanced level (preferred)
* Prior partnering experience
