My poor little Snackies somehow ended up with a very swollen eye. No idea how it happened. I consider anything eye-related to be an emergency, so I’m currently just waiting for the vet to get here. Figured it’s a great time to play a guessing game while we wait.
Guess I should be grateful this happened on a weekday and not a weekend or holiday!

No baby chicks were taste-tested or otherwise permanently traumatized by Snacks during the creation of this video 😂

Had to stop on our walk to sniff all the trash and recycling cans. You just never know if someone’s throwing away carrots or sparkling water 🤷🏼‍♀️

Since Snacks was diagnosed with insulin resistance and can no longer eat blackberries (his all time favorite fruit in the whole universe 😢), one of my coworkers gave me this blackberry sparkling water for him to try. Do you think that Snacks approves of this sugar-free substitute for his favorite fruit? What flavors should we try next?

I love to see Penny get the zoomies. She raced as a young horse, had 5 babies that I could track down, and eventually ended up starving in a backyard before she made her way to me. Life hasn’t been easy for her, but she’s healthy and happy now, and I’m grateful for every day we have with her 🥰
