Redefining Fitness Invictus is a 12,000 sq/ft. fitness coaching facility equipped with men’s and women’s locker rooms and a designated kid’s area, located in East Village/Downtown San Diego, California.
We offer group, semi-private and individual coaching. Our workouts are comprised of constantly varied functional movements (like pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, running) in a manner designed to help you achieve your fitness goals.

After a few years at Invictus, Invictus member Mary tried DEXA because she wanted to know more about my body composition than the scale could tell me. Before joining Invictus in 2009, she wasn't thinking about fitness and body composition. I just cared about the number on the scale. But after a couple of years of CrossFit, the number on the scale kept going up! That kind of bothered me, so I just stopped weighing myself. I knew my pants size wasn't necessarily getting bigger, so the scale didn't matter anymore. Enter DEXA.

We often celebrate weight loss as gaining something. Gaining health. Gaining confidence. Gaining validation.
