I have the 3 Day weightlifting program. Absolutely amazing. During today’s workout, out of no where, i couldn’t lift anything over my head. It was like my right arm/shoulder had very limited power over head.

No pain.. I can’t remember anything “happening” to pin point injuring my shoulder.

Has this happened to anyone else? What did you do to overcome it?

This 9-week weightlifting training cycle runs from June 6 to August 7. The focus will be on improving our overall strength, with higher volume on the traditional lifts to build strength in the OLY lifts. We will be doing lower volume & more technical work on the snatch and clean & jerk, and we will still be doing all the strength accessories.

What We're Into Wednesdays!

Every other Wednesday, we will be offering tips for coaches from our Invictus Coaches.

Here are some tips from Coach Fritz to get the most out of your single arm kettlebell front rack carry.

Don't front rack carry your KB like a lazy crossfitter. Instead, carry it correctly and reap the benefits. Also, consider choosing a single KB carry instead of double KBs. This demands unique tension to stabilize the torso and is a great option to work towards symmetry in hip and core musculature.

Most competitive – and even non-competitive – CrossFit athletes are very intense if you ask anyone outside of the sport. Based on what is shown on ESPN and social media accounts, that presumption is pretty easy to defend. Besides the “newbie” at the gym who can’t stop talking about their WOD, what they ate that day, and showing off their battle scars, i.e., bloody shins and torn hands, one group, in particular, takes the proverbial cake when it comes to intensity level. The Female CrossFit Masters Athlete. We’d argue that ANY female over 55 who competes in ANY sport likely does so with more intensity and fury than any other division of that sport. If you have a basic knowledge of American history, it makes sense why.
