Description: The Original “EGG” was designed right here at G&S by Skip Frye in the early 70’s with its curved “egg shaped” outline, full rounded tail and catch free 60/40 rails, the Egg is easy to surf yet extremely loose and smooth. The classic egg is one of surfing’s most versatile under-rated designs that should be in everyone’s quiver. Features a standard flat to V in tail, but other options available depending on fin set-up and experience. *Upon request we can make a “winter” egg or more pulled in “Speed Egg” version.

Description: The Original Magic and one of our best sellers and classic outlines since 1969. Refined and improved throughout the decades, and still a favorite. It can glide down-the-line through sections in small surf or carve smooth powerful turns in larger surf. Medium hard 60/40 rails fade into edge in the tail, a mild rocker for easier paddling and speed. With Flat to medium double concave built into the “Vee”. This one is a rare Twin Keel Future fin box. We recommend NVS Ono Keels with this one

Wave Type: Great in a variety of conditions knee to shoulder high.

Description: Versatile longboard that works best for “in the Pocket” involvement style surfing, however, the Hazlewood is a great Noserider in critical parts of the wave as well. The concave in the front half of the board not only helps with noseriding, but allows for a faster trim speed in quick sections. The “Vee” in the back half along with the wide point set back from center, puts you in control and allows for fluid turns to slow down and put you back in the pocket for a noseride.
