For nearly a decade, iFLY San Diego was so much more than a place to fly. Since opening our doors in 2016, our tunnel has been a place to learn, grow, challenge ourselves, meet new people, and make friendships that will last a lifetime. Thousands of first flights, countless hours in the wind, and so many unforgettable moments happened inside these walls. To every first-time flyer who discovered the feeling of flight here, and especially to the experienced flyers who helped make this tunnel a community — thank you. To all of the indoor and outdoor skydivers who shared your dedication, love, and passion for this sport and its people with us, we are incredibly grateful. There is no body flight community without you.
While iFLY San Diego is now permanently closed, the memories, friendships, progression, and love for flying that were built here will carry on long after the wind has stopped. We hope you’ll keep flying, keep learning, and keep sharing this sport with the people around you. The wind is still waiting for you at iFLY Oceanside, approximately a 40-minute drive from San Diego. Thank you, San Diego, for nearly 10 incredible years. It has been an honor to fly with you. 💙
