Belonging starts with something simple, like having a spot and someone beside you.

It is a promise we keep for every kid who walks in.

Come see it for yourselves.

Some kids quietly carry blame that was never theirs.

Hearing an adult say it plainly can lift a lot of weight.

Share this with your child tonight, and come try a class with us when you are ready.

Kids are not the only ones who get to train here.

Our adult classes are full of good people learning something new together.

We spend so much time watching the scoreboard we forget what the pursuit was really for.

It was never about the medal.

It was about who someone becomes on the way to reaching for it.

There is force, and there is precision.

Force wears you down.

Precision closes every door until there is nowhere left to go.

One feels like a fight. The other feels like a lesson.

The best teachers move the same way.

This week on Sensei's Corner.

We will not be holding Open Mat at our academy on Saturday, July 4th.

Instead, we’d love for everyone to head over to TFI Pacific Beach for the next stop of the TFI Summer Open Mat Series 🇺🇸🔥

This is a great chance to train with teammates from across TFI California and be part of something bigger than just one room.

If you’ve been looking for a reason to get out and train, this is it.
