AS WE GET OLDER, CERTAIN THINGS BECOME NON-NEGOTIABLE.

Our peace.
Our time.
Our loved ones.
Our health.
Our purpose.
OURSELVES.

And here’s what I’ve learned…

The time and energy required to nurture those things becomes PREASSIGNED.

My peace already has a place.
My family already has a place.
My purpose already has a place.
Taking care of myself already has a place.

So when you come looking for time, energy, attention, or access that I’ve already assigned somewhere else…

THERE’S NOTHING LEFT TO GIVE.

And that’s not selfish.
That’s MATURITY.

Everything doesn’t deserve access to you just because it asks for it.

What’s important gets priority. What’s draining gets boundaries. What’s sacred gets protected.

At some point, you stop trying to give everyone a piece of you…

because you’ve finally realized YOU NEED SOME OF YOU, TOO. 💜
