The Pointe Safe Certified Ballet Teacher program is an immersive 8-week live online course designed to give ballet teachers practical, evidence-based tools for pointe readiness, injury prevention, anatomy, and studio corrections. Gain confidence in assessing dancers, implementing strengthening strategies, and knowing when to refer students to a dance medicine professional.

Excited to share that Natalie Zakrajsek is now Pointe Safe certified! It has been a joy to have you in this course, so proud of your hard work!

Natalie has been teaching for almost 10 years in a broad range of styles and ages- Ballet being her favourite. Natalie graduated from George Brown College’s Dance Program in 2014. Over the years,
Natalie, has continued to educate herself through P.A.E.C, Alixa Flexibility, Kindermusik, Acrobatic Arts and Progressive Ballet Technique. Natalie is incredibly eager to continue to educate herself for the well being and growth of her students. Natalie strives to bring a passionate, educational, safe and fun learning environment to her students.

Congrats to Kristen Jameson for completing Pointe Safe! We are excited for you to be Pointe Safe certified 🥳

Kristen Jameson is currently the Artistic Director of Ballet at Grace Conservatory in Ponte Vedra, Florida. She grew up studying ballet and character dance under Dina Fadeyeva as a student in Virginia, attending summer intensives at American Ballet Theatre, Bolshoi Ballet Academy, and the Joffrey Ballet. She went on to earn her B.F.A. in Classical Ballet from Radford University under the direction of Inessa Plekhanova, a graduate of the Vaganova Ballet Academy, and her B.S. in Early Childhood Education. Kristen also earned her M.Ed. from George Mason University, and became certified in the Vaganova teaching method by A.S.E. Global Bridges (formerly the Russian American Foundation). She danced professionally for seven seasons as a principal with Savannah Ballet Theatre, and was an adjunct professor of dance at Savannah State University, where she taught dance pedagogy, kinesiology, and ballet. Kristen has been teaching for over 15 years, and is passionate about bringing proper educational practices to the ballet classroom.

We are excited to announce Amanda Whites Keller as a Pointe Safe certified teacher!

Amanda Whites Keller began dancing at the age of four in Eastern Kentucky and continued throughout her life, performing with Dance Theatre of Tennessee, Lexington Ballet, and Movement Continuum. She is the Academy Director and founder of Kentucky Dance Academy in Frankfort, Ky and is excited to implement the Pointe Safe methodology into her ballet classes!

Our next Pointe Safe certified teacher from cohort 12 is Eve Robinson ❤️

Eve Robinson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. She has worked with renowned choreographers and companies including The Joffrey Ballet School, Ballet West, Ballet Arizona, Spectrum Dance Theater, and the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company.

She has also published original research on the benefits of dance for older adults, presented at the National Dance Education Organization Conference.

In addition to her dance background, Eve is a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in outpatient orthopedics. She teaches dance and treats patients throughout the greater Seattle area, with a passion for helping dancers recover from injury and return to the stage stronger.

It was so incredible to have you in cohort 12! We cannot wait to see how you implement pointe safe into your classes ⭐️✨

We are so proud to have Fernando Ramos Cintrón as one of our Pointe Safe certified teachers!

Fernando Ramos Cintrón is a q***r Puerto Rican movement artist based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Ramos researches contemporary approaches to movement as a dancer, educator and choreographer. He currently serves as the Chair of Dance at the New Mexico School for the Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and is also the Artistic Director of Ramos Danza, and co-producer of CONTEMPORA, contemporary dance festival in Puerto Rico and Santa Fe. He has collaborated or danced for Coda 21, BocaTuya/Omar Román de Jesús, Vaga, Rafael Cañals, Gaby Hernández, and Clarosuro.

Our next certified teacher from Cohort 12 is Emily Sosangelis! ✨⭐️

Emily Sosangelis Tylecote is the Founder and Artistic Director of Yavapai Ballet Theatre, where she leads the company’s artistic vision, community partnerships and long-term development. Trained under the direction of Jerzy Golek of the Lodz Ballet, she continued on to Yale University where she danced for the university’s ballet company. In addition to her work with YBT, she maintains an active career as a freelance dancer and ballet teacher.

You were such an amazing energy to have in class Emily. We are so proud of what you’ve accomplished! 🫶✨

Proud to have Amy Schultze in the Pointe Safe community ❤️✨

Amy Schultze is currently the Lower School Division Lead at the School of Sacramento Ballet, CA. Ms. Schultze began dancing at a young age, trained on scholarship at Virginia School of the Arts and received her BA from Hollins University with a major in dance. She danced professionally for thirteen years with companies such as Orlando Ballet, FL, Charleston Ballet, SC, Roanoke Ballet Theater, VA. Ms. Schultze has been teaching dance for thirty years. She has received her Professional Teaching Certificate (Dance K-12) from the State of Florida and is also certified to teach Progressing Ballet Technique.

We are so honored to have Megan Loppe join our group of Pointe Safe certified teachers! ✨🫶❤️

Megan has been teaching ballet for over 25 years. She is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and graduated with distinction in 2003 from Canada’s National Ballet School (NBS) in their Teacher Training Program. Upon graduation, Megan continued to teach at NBS in the unique role of History of Ballet Teacher.

Since 2000, Megan has taught at high schools and dance studios across southern Ontario, and has been leading the ballet program at The Guelph Academy of Dance since 2014.

Megan has a passion for helping dancers gain a strong foundation in technique using focused conditioning exercises and applying up-to-date dance science knowledge. Megan finds that Pointe Safe fits into this model seamlessly.

You were such a joy to have in this course, Megan. Great job for all your hard work 💪

Meet our newest Pointe Safe certified teacher from Cohort 12: Talmadge Krajowsky!

Talmadge Krajowsky is an artist and arts educator based in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York. She holds an MFA from the Visual Studies Workshop, and has been dancing for over 45 years. Currently, she leads the ballet program at Trinity Performing Arts, a competitive dance studio that focuses on diversity, leadership, and body positivity. When she’s not teaching dance or photography, she is a fine art photographer whose work has been displayed in galleries across the United States.
