Leadership doesn’t stop on a Sunday. What I’m starting to realize is that she is leading me. And I’m good with it. If you need a cheerleader, start with being one for someone else. It works both ways.

Are you surrounded with people that speak into you? If you aren’t, make it a priority. It can change your life.

There are no secrets. If there are, I don’t want em’. Focus on becoming.

Like, a lot. Greatness comes from you being good, over and over again. This statement was one of many lessons picked up after a dinner with an old coach and friend. Remember when I told you to pick up the phone and call someone when you are in town? Did you? If not, here’s another reminder. Stay connected.

The game is changing. Stay one step ahead and make Friday YOUR differentiator. Finish your most valuable work. If you don’t use it for your work, use it for what you say you didn’t have time for before.

I’m all for the hustle, if I know why I’m doing it. Once you identify why you are hustling, spend time making sure you are connecting to it in ways that continue to inspire you. The connection is the hard part. It likely doesn’t come from something external. The connection to why you do what you do is internal, but that’s the hard work.
