💪 COACH SPOTLIGHT OF THE MONTH‼️
Meet Coach Meg! Meg’s been coaching at F45 NB for almost 2 years and was a long time member before, completing just under 600 classes since 2021! We’re so lucky to have her shining smile on Friday mornings and her sweet support throughout class.
🏡Hometown: Alabama yeehaw 🤠
💻What do you do for work: I’m a Visual Designer at a tech company called Cresta.
🥰Favorite thing about F45/the NB community: I love that every class I go to, there are always friends to work out with. This community ALWAYS puts a smile on my face, and I’m so grateful for all the laughs, memories, and fun we’ve shared at NB. It truly makes working out something I look forward to!
🥵Favorite F45 workout: Seoul Rush! I love a true hybrid workout.
😈Favorite F45 movement: Would y’all believe me if I said chin ups :).
👿Least favorite f45 movement: Gorilla bounds... Sorry GG 🦍.
💪Gym hot take: It’s always better to drop down in weight and focus on technique. Bad form is my biggest pet peeve. You’ll often hear me say, “slow and controlled,” and I mean it... Good form over heavy weights, always!
🍹Favorite SF bar/restaurant: a small dive bar called Latin American Club on 22nd. they have the BEST margaritas. And they’re like… $9 😱.
👩🍳Hobbies outside the gym: I’ve recently gotten into baking (thank you, Coach Linds, for donating some of your sourdough starter to me 🍞). I’ve been baking lots of bread, cinnamon rolls, and cakes for friends on their birthdays :).
🥲Something you’re proud of: Before I became a visual designer (and long before I lived in SF), I used to design headphones. A pair of headphones my team and I designed was featured in both Hypebeast and Vogue, which was a pretty cool moment.
🤭Fun fact about you: I’m getting married in less than a month! Connor recently became a member, so you’ve probably seen us working out together more :). Another fun fact: Connor and I are on a waitlist to adopt an ex-racing Greyhound from Australia! We’re hoping he (or she) joins our family in early January. AND ONE MORE, Do y’all remember the “Hide yo kids, hide yo wife” guy? He was the janitor at my elementary school lmao.
