As the year comes to a close, it’s time to reflect on another year of youth handball development in the Bay Area 🤾🏼‍♀️🤾🏻‍♂️ We simply could not pass the opportunity to celebrate Nicolas Fawzi, who was just nominated as finalist for USA Team Handball Men’s Beach Athlete of the Year 🏆 Nic has been one of our inaugural players, and he’s grown into a leader on and off the sand/court! 🏅 His sportsmanship only equals his talent, and we cannot wait to see what his Beach Handball future looks like ✨ Congrats 🎊

Handball friends in the Bay Area! You may have noticed that more girls are now playing our awesome sport in the local youth teams! 🥳🤾‍♀️

Our club is committed to supporting this growth and getting even more girls to fall in love with Team Handball 🏆 Join us for a series of Sunday practices in October to discover or re-discover Team Handball, all levels welcome, for girls 10-18.

Today was our last game before the Youth CalCup tournament 🤾🏆 We are beyond grateful to have the opportunity to join forces with Sterne School - San Francisco for this occasion.

Getting back to practice this year has been challenging, however they have welcomed our group with open arms, and most importantly, kids are now playing as one team! 🤩

The future of team handball in the US sure looks promising!

Today, our players had the privilege of playing their first game with Sterne School - San Francisco 🤾🏻‍♀️🤾🏼‍♂️🤾

Together, this great group of high schoolers took on San Francisco CalHeat Team Handball Club's youth team, and secured a 25-23 victory! 🎊🏆🎊

Our club is delighted to see the growth of Sterne's players, and is beyond proud of its own players for this great showing of their favorite sport! We all had lots of fun today! 🤩🥳
