It’s been over 18 months since our beautiful Nolan was born and I became a mom. The most extraordinary experience of my life.
✨ From seeing my tiny human grow and evolve and reveal who he is to discovering myself as a mom.
✨ Nolan has a sunny disposition, a contagious laugh and loves playing and having fun. He is also strong willed and has tantrums that are both hilarious and stressful to manage. To me he is perfect just the way he is, my very bright, warm light.
✨ As for me as a mom, I have evolved from VERY clumsy and confused the first weeks, maybe months, to confident that I am not doing too bad. And certain that this is the most amazing adventure of my life.
✨I haven’t posted anything since my 2nd trimester and wanted to come back to share where I am at and why bright yoga is on hold.
✨ The third trimester I was focused on taking care of myself. The first months since Nolan was born all my energy went to enjoying every minute of being a new mom and recovering.
✨ And then it’s been about spending quality time with Nolan and continue nurturing myself in the little time I have left. But all this time, I kept practicing yoga regularly… in a different way at each stage, but always energizing and restorative.
👉🏻Hoping one day there will be more time and space to share more. In the meantime I will continue being a mom, a yogi and many more things and would love to hear any new mom stories or any story of self discovery through transformational experiences.

Madrid Is Planning an Urban Forest To Improve Air Quality, Lower Temperatures, and Fight Climate Change.
I am so sad to see the impact of climate change becoming really tangible. I was back in Spain a few weeks back and found the heat absolutely unbearable… Now the news about the wildfires are breaking my heart. Unfortunately this is only the beginning.
However I find comfort and hope in some initiatives like the Madrid Bosque Metropolitano (aka the Madrid urban forest).
The project will include half a million trees spread out across the perimeter around the city that stretches 46 miles. This new forest will include beech, black pine, and oak trees that were all carefully chosen as species indigenous to the region to make it sustainable.
Can’t wait to see this becoming a reality. I rather see cities and governments focusing on taking action than just lamenting where we are.
👉🏻Any other exciting initiative anybody has seen lately?

You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy a ticket to Hawaii and that’s pretty much the same thing.
🌺Lush greenery, double rainbows, turquoise water, volcano power, carefree surfers and good vibes.
🌺My heart is full, my mind contempt and my soul feels at home. Life feels better in Hawaii. Taking it all in for the rest of our holiday and hoping this feeling lasts long once back home.

“Its natural beauty cleans and warms like a fire, and you will be willing to stay forever in one place like a tree.” - John Muir
My dad is finally visiting after almost 3 years since last time he could come to the States. I knew the priority was to be able to finally show him the Giant Sequoias he had been dreaming of meeting since he was a kid and his dad (my grandfather) gifted him a book about this mythical trees.
I decided to take him to Yosemite, because I had never been and it would be a more memorable experience for both. I didn’t know what to expect beyond the Giant Sequoias… as soon as we entered the Yosemite Valley our jaw dropped at the sight of this marvel of nature. We were mesmerized by the waterfalls, towering granite monoliths and deep valleys.
We walked 23km today and can’t wait to go back and discover some more tomorrow.
