Your body naturally wants to take the easy way out.
Exercise is a form of controlled stress that we use to create adaptation (usually muscle growth and strength).
You’re not going to get there if you let your body win and take the path of least resistance.
The same goes with your brain - you gotta give it a challenge!
It’s HARD to do this on our own.

CARDIO??
Is it good or bad? Should I be doing it? How much!? Ahhhhhh!!
Here’s my short answer:
If you are just starting your fat loss/weight loss journey, cardio should not be your primary focus but should definitely be included. Focus on building muscle and eating better, while incorporating a couple hours of medium intensity cardio every week.
If you’ve been weight training for a while and are mostly wanting to cut fat, cardio is bueno! It can definitely help you to be more lean. As long as you’re not doing a huge amount, you shouldn’t be eating into muscle maintenance. Again, a few hours of medium intensity per week is ideal.
Throw in some short bouts of high intensity training one or two days/week and you’re gold!
