I returned to Lucca 🇮🇹 for the first time since coming here in 2007 with my mom and her best friend Marie (aka Marie of the tomato 🍅 plants - 😅)
I was expecting to love the smaller town charm & pace (which I did!). I wasn’t expecting to be flooded with so many of the special and funny memories of that visit with mom & Marie while being here. I wandered upon the carousel and laughed out loud recalling my mom being chased off of it after snapping her photo (last slide 🎠)!
It seemed very fitting that I should also find a store called “Lucy Bags” where everything was 13.99€ - Lucy always loved a bargain 🛍️
I’m even more grateful today for the adventures we took. As I continue to have new adventures, I can re-remember those moments and feel like she is very close by💞💫🌠🗺️✨
