The Eagles (3-1) — the lone West Division squad active Sunday — stand just one half match out of first place following their triumph over the Reddingtons (1-3) in Dublin

The Dukes (3-1) leap out of the gate, keying a victory over the visiting Colonels (0-4) that allows the San Jose squad to maintain the pace atop the East Division table

The Aces (3-1) use a late rally to overcome the Clarions (2-2) at the latter nine's home diamond in Albany. Fingers, captain of the Aces, describes the match as "a back and forth affair led by Scoreboard's two home runs."

(This might be the strangest score line we've seen at B.A.V.B.B. headquarters; it resembles chalk not at all)

Cranks, Sunday brings us a trio of morning matches hosted by East Division squads. Turn out to the diamonds in Albany, Sunnyvale or Dublin to take in the finest vintage base ball our region has to offer!

• The final four matches hosted by the Oakland Colonels at Washington Park this season shall begin at 11 a.m.

• The Coasters-Reddingtons match of July 14 shall be played upon Pieretti Diamond at Crocker Amazon in San Francisco

Furthermore, the following matches rained out April 12 have been rescheduled:

• Pacifics at Sea Lions: July 7, Big Rec, noon

• Reddingtons at Pelicans: July 26, time & venue to be determined

• Eagles at Barbary Coast: August 23, Big Rec, noon
