Water World Swim

What a beautiful day on the SF Bay today. We had a nice group for our Swim with Pedro session . Water was calm and is still warm , hovering between 60&61 degrees. Next week is Crissy Field 9 am.

Another spectacular and warm day on the SF bay today. We started with doing the water support for the Swim For Sight charity swim . Perfect conditions two days in a row for the crossings. After that we had our regular Swim with Pedro session with many smiling faces. We also got treated with some of the Navy’s finest coming into the bay on preparation for Fleet Week.

Great conditions today for the October Crossing. Lots of first time swimmers under 18 that did great and all 33 finished. Thank you to the Chuckys Pride and all the Water support personel .

A big congratulations to Anaya and Mitali who today finished there 100th Alcatraz crossing joining the elite club of Centurions. More photos of today’s event and results will be posted in the next day or so. We know Pedro was smiling down on both of you today. ❤️ We also want to say a big thank you to all the water support , coaches and volunteers who helped make this special day a success.

It was windy and choppy today in the bay but this big group of swimmers still put in the work and enjoyed there swim .

We hosted another Youth clinic today before the regular SWP session . The kids had a great time as well as the adults after. Big thanks to Rosey, Kaelyn , Leslie and the paddle crew for watching out for the young ones. Alcatraz in there future fore sure. Water was a warm 63 and nice and flat.

Todays Golden Gate Bride Swim was challenging for the swimmers but still rewarding. Conditions were a bit tough. Congrats to 16 year Old Asha Spritzer for taking the overall.

What a great turnout for today’s Swim With Pedro session @ Aquatic Park. Wonderful weather and lots of smiling swimmers.

We celebrated and said goodbye to our beloved Pedro today. We returned him to the sea in glorious fashion. Videos to follow.
