The San Francisco Volleyball Association is pleased to announce that registration is open for our upcoming volleyball tournament on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Prepare to spike, serve, and score in our exciting volleyball tournament.

Register your team for doubles or quads 4 options to choose from:

Beach - Reverse Coed Doubles (AA/AAA) 10 Teams Max
Gr ass - Coed Quads (A) - Competitive - 8 Teams Max
Grass - Coed Quads (A) - Competitive - 8 Teams Max
Grass - Coed Quads (B) – Intermediate - 8 Teams Max.

Olympic Gold Medalist, Pat Powers will conduct an advanced skills volleyball camp in San Francisco, CA. This camp will be held at San Mateo High School on Saturday, July 27 – Sunday, July 28, 2024. The volleyball camp will run from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM on Saturday and 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM on Sunday.

Coaches are more than welcome to attend for free!

Girls and Boys ages 11-17 and Adults! There are 16 slots left until a waitlist forms.

Good morning, earlier in the week we announced our volleyball tournament at Roxbury Park in Beverly Hills on August 24, 2024. We reached out to the Beverly Hills Historical Society to learn more about the Park. Here's what they shared with me:

"Roxbury Park was built around 1927-28 in the bean fields that bordered Tenth St. and Roxbury Drive. Tenth Street was what Olympic Boulevard was called before the 1932 Olympics. Also, before the 1932 Olympics, Tenth Street stopped at 20th Century Fox Studios and picked up on the other side as Country Club Drive. Later, 20th added a bridge over Olympic Boulevard to their north lot (now Century City). After 1941 the park was renamed Roxbury Memorial Park to honor Beverly Hills residents who died in battle."
Roxbury Park has in addition to sand volleyball courts:

Pickleball Courts
Tennis Courts
Baseball Field
Basketball Courts
Lawn Bowling
Children's Playground
and plenty of barbeque grills and picnic tables

Most importantly they have 3 bathrooms!

This will be a combination of grass and sand courts. We are very excited to have Michelle Iafigliola on board to manage the sand court competition.
