Your pointe shoes need ribbons to fix them properly on your feet. The basic place to sew them is shown on the picture, but many ballerinas have their own little secrets. For example, some dancers prefer to fix them with angles differs from 90° or a bit higher or lower - it all depends on your feet. That’s why we don’t sew the ribbons on the factory!
