One of our young teenage girls who is a black belt in our program was assaulted on the J Church Streetcar line. A large male grabbed her by the wrist and made numerous sexual comments. She did an grab release and escaped the hold. She told him to back up to which he responded: "What's a little girl like you going to do?" He attempted to grab her again. Our teen responded by throwing a round kick to the assailants face which broke his nose. She then did an uppercut which knocked him to the ground. She then calmly exited the bus and went home. It's interesting to note that the bus was full and NO ONE tried to help her.
