Happy MATWTCG (morning after Taylor went to the chiefs game)
1. She’s literally the biggest star in the world
2. She’s single for the first time in 6 years and her last relationship was so private and was literally hiding in objects to avoid being seen, and now she’s chest bumping with Donna Kelce at an NFL game
3. She’s never dated a “jock” type and always went for the quiet, slinky, hipster artist
4. Could we be witnessing herstory? Travis Swift?
5. This started as a joke and was so far fetched after Travis said on his podcast that he wanted to give Taylor a bracelet with his number on it at her concert but didn’t get to
6. Travis’ brother Jason is a beloved Eagles player and just had a documentary come out called, “Kelce” and we feel like we know their family.
**homework assignment: watch Kelce on Amazon Prime please to get to know Taylor’s new family.

Buckle up girlies, it’s NBA free agency. Things are moving fast and players are going every which way right now. If your husband, boyfriend, sneaky link, whatever, isn’t texting you right now it’s probably because they are glued to free agency updates. What is free agency you may ask? Well let’s break it down for you:
Free agency is basically like a year review for the team and the player. The teams will look over contracts of who they want to keep, if they want to offer players more money, if they want to trade them, all the things. It also allows players the chance to air their grievances about if they would like to stay, get paid more, or leave. But there are different types of free agents:
“Unrestricted free agent” is a player who is out of a contract and can do whatever they want.
A “player option” gives the player the choice to decide whether to stay for another year or become an unrestricted free agent.
A “team option” gives the team the power to decide whether they will keep the player or not. And when we say team we mean the owners/front office.
A “restricted free agent” is able to sign a contract with a new team, but his original team is allowed to say no and is able to match the offer the player receives from the other team. This can lead to many things, but if a player wants out, they can usually get out. This is where allll the drama is. This typically happens when a player is really good for the franchise but hates his team and wants to leave.
So what does this mean, what’s going on? Basically chaos, rn is like the episode of real housewives when they all take a trip together and everything goes bat s**t crazy before the finale. We might have confused you even more, idk! But just know the NBA is a leeetle nuts right now and we love the drama. We’ll update you when decisions are made and moves are final.

Okay so the first round of the NBA draft happened and I just don’t understand why we don’t get Adam Silver a wig after all of these years. But here’s what everyone’s talking about:
Big news is that Paolo Banchero from Duke University was selected as the Number 1 overall pick going to the Orlando Magic. This makes Duke the school to produce the most number 1 picks in the history of the NBA. This also came as a huge surprise because Jabari Smith Jr. was ~rumored~ to go number 1, sorry not sorry Jabari, Paolo was the better pick. Smith ended up going to the Kings, good luck buddy.
Chet Holmgren (skeleton man from Gonzaga) went 2nd to OKC. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Gidday and Chet are a good foundational big 3, but we’ll see.
The Sixers decided to get rid of Danny Green and their 23rd pick and gave them to Memphis for De’Anthony Melton. People are saying this is really gonna help the Sixers. But isn’t that what the people have been saying over the last 20 changes within the team?? We digress.
The real winners from last night were the Detroit Pistons. Jaden Ivey will be joining the team, he will compliment their team well and there will be no pressure for him to be outstanding because well, the Pistons suck. But it didn't stop there, they then gave up a future first round pick for Jalen Duren. Just overall very smart moves.
In other news, Kyrie is begging to get out of Brooklyn, Kevin Durant doesn’t seem to care about anything at all, the Lakers have been kinda quiet and most most MOST importantly, Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker broke up. Looks like losing in the playoffs really shook him up and he realized he’d only be getting a wedding ring if he stayed.
Lots more to come. The Draft isn’t over, Summer League will be interesting, and more young men will just get money thrown at them to dribble a little ball up and down the court. ✌🏼

So much going on this week. Johnny Depp won his case, Liam Payne has ruined the chances of One Direction ever touring again and I feel as though the whole world is stuck on that Utah family of swingers??
Anyways, tonight starts the NBA Finals and either the Golden State Warriors or the Boston Celtics will walk away crowned as the new NBA champs. Trust me, we’re just as surprised.
Neither team was favored to make it this far. This series is going to be good and from what we’ve seen, we have multiple mixed feelings.
Boston’s defense will be an issue for Steph Curry. They are also young, have the size and Jayson Tatum, who is not just devilishly handsome, is a superstar.
However, the Warriors have depth and experience in the Playoffs that the Celtics do not, and not to mention the Warriors are led by one of, if not the greatest shooter in the league, Mr. Curry.
In the end, we predict a long series with tons of drama so stay tuned.

Summer is just around the corner, we’re sweating, and sports are heating up. After spending our weekend stalking the Kravis wedding, here’s what happened this weekend in the sports world.
The Heat lead the Celtics in their NBA playoff series, and the Warriors are destroying the Mavs rn. Even though it’s “sTiLl eArLY iN tHe SErIeS” we can see where this is headed. We’re predicting a Heat/Warriors final and the Warriors will be favored to win.
We know golf is usually boring, but the PGA tournament was this weekend and things got spicy. Justin Thomas had a huuuge comeback during the last three holes after leader Mito Pereira’s ball went for a lil swim at the 18th hole. Ya just hate to see it.
Surprise surprise the hockey boys are fighting, but this one was actually interesting. During their playoff game, the Rangers and the Canes got in a big tussle during at end of the game. But... the best part about it: The coaches actually started chirping at each other and we thought for sure the gramps were gonna throw hands. HC Gerard Gallant basically told the press he’s not scared so the next four games should be interesting.

𝗡𝗕𝗔 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸-𝗶𝗻: Another round finished and we’re getting down to the wire. The four teams left: Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, and the Golden State Warriors.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀:
The 76ers have once again failed the city of Philadelphia, but it’s okay, we’re all just going to look the other way and pretend it’s a coaching problem again and ignore the fact that James Harden did absolutely nothing in Game 6. It’s almost like we’ve been here before… I digress. Everyone should keep an eye on this, but really don’t be surprised if Doc Rivers is back. Also, let’s start calling him Glenn, his real name.
The Bucks surprised the world with a huge loss to the Celtics after dragging the series out. The Celtics have Grant Williams to thank for that.
The Suns are outta here. Kendall Jenner strikes again causing the Kardashian Kurse to take over Devin Booker’s star playoff run. Can’t wait to see them sipping 818 in the offseason.
And the Grizzlies star, Ja Morant, is taking his playoff loss frustrations out on Twitter, how relatable.
𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱:
Jimmy Butler and the Heat vs. Jayson Tatum and the Celtics. Good series to watch with some handsome guys to look at. The Celtics already beat the Heat twice in the regular season and the Heat are really going to have to strategize coming into this series. Jimmy Butler has been on a hot streak, but from what we’ve seen the Celtics want this... real bad.
Then we got Luka Dončić (I cannot say his name without doing a little accent, anyone else?) and the Mavericks, vs. Steph Curry and the Warriors. Golden State is favored to win and we must agree. Big Mr. Doncic can’t do this all on his own anymore.
For the rest of the league, it’s open season time. The draft lottery will be out on the 17th and there are rumors of a LeBron trade, coaches getting fired, and of course all of the young hopeful babies praying they don’t get sent to Houston, Orlando, or Detriot. Until next time

We know you missed us, but everyone deserves a break, right?! It’s a busy time in the sports world and the NBA playoffs have us sitting at the local dive bar on a Tuesday.
𝗡𝗕𝗔 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗳𝗳𝘀 We are underway; things are spicing up. The Sixers and the Heat were really keeping us on our toes, HOWEVER, the Sixers lost big time last night and cannot seem to get themselves together when on the road. Poor Joel Embiid wasn’t crowned MVP, his face is broken, and we’re sad for him but also Jimmy Butler is hot, we said what we said. The Bucks and the Celtics are also keeping things steamy as Giannis and Jayson Tatum go at it. Then you have the Warriors and Grizzlies, Steph Curry vs. Ja Morant. Remember Ja Morant from the 2019 March Madness run from 12th seed Murray State? Then we have the Suns vs. the Mavericks aka Kenny Jenner’s boo vs. Marc Cuban and Luka Doncic (the league MVP).
𝗡𝗙𝗟 So the NFL draft happened, and the #1 pick was from the Jags who picked up Travon Walker, a Georgia linebacker. Enjoy the sun Trav bc that’s all the Jags can offer tbh. The Steelers are casting for a new QB and really it’s anyone's game. The Jets and the Giants both had great first rounds picks, so New York Football might be back??? The Packers screwed over Aaron Rodgers after he signed a massive contract with them and they really gave him nothing to work with. And lastly, we can all relate to Lamar Jackson’s “wtf” tweet after the Ravens got rid of his bestie in a trade and well didn’t do too much for the advancement of the team.
𝗠𝗟𝗕 Hold onto your hot dogs, it’s baseball season. New York baseball is looking pretty good, and the LA Dodgers are loaded, however, the big topic amongst the homies is that no one is scoring like they used to. There is some science behind all of this, but that’s for another post.
𝗡𝗛𝗟 First round of the Stanley Cup playoffs is underway. The Bruins cannot win on the road and are getting dominated by the Hurricanes. Also, how is fighting a hockey still a thing? The Canadians have won the number 1 draft pick and America is not happy.

Get your mugs out, we’re filling you up on this week’s sports tea.
Sunday night, two Duke basketball players were cited for a DWI. Coach K’s grandson, Michael Savarino, (who rides the bench) drove his VERY TALENTED teammate Paolo Banchero home after the two had been out. Michael had a blood alcohol level of 0.08%, which puts him right at the mark of driving while intoxicated. Paolo was charged with aiding in a DWI, it appears he was not drinking. The charges were later dropped against Paolo, but Michael is suspended from the team indefinitely. Everyone of course thinks that Paolo should be put on a two-game suspension, but this stuff happens in sports all the time and nOtHinG haPPeNs.
The Staples Center is going to be renamed the Crypto.com Arena? The Staples Center in LA has been around for over two decades and is arguably one of the best sports arenas in history, so this is just a bit crazy for the owners to change the name. Not only is it weird to change the name of the arena itself, but to make it “Crypto.com Arena.” Is the ‘.com’ necessary? We bet soon they're only going to accept bitcoin as payment for tickets. This cost Crypto.com $700 million to hold the name for the next 20 years.
Where oh where will Odell Beckham Jr. end up? He just got to the Rams and it isn’t going so well for him, or should we say the way he wants. The Rams just lost to the 49ers 31-10 (ouch). The QB for the Rams just could not throw the ball and we think OBJ is a tad shaken up. Now some commentators *Troy Aikman* are pushing the blame more towards Odell. We would not be surprised if he’s knocking on Aaron Rodgers’ door next week.
Kyrie Irving is still not vaccinated or playing for the Nets. Now he’s getting paid $34 million to sit at home and tweet weird semi motivational things about God and his feelings. Idk, someone just sneak it in a piece of cheese for him please.
Thursday night in the NBA the Jazz played the Pacers and a huge fight broke out and now everyone involved is getting fined. In total, the league will collect over $100k from just four players for their little tussle. I mean, we wouldn't hate getting a few thousand every time our boothang picked a fight with us.

The NFL is taking a toll on our lives as usual so if you need a football break, NBA season is underway. Here are some hot NBA topics if you want to sound like you know what you're talking about:
• Ben Simmons leaving the Sixers was the best thing for them. You know that toxic manipulative ex that all of your friends hate? Yeah, that’s what Ben Simmons is to the Sixers. If you haven’t followed the drama, Benny boy told the Sixers he didn’t want to play for them anymore, threw a huge temper tantrum, and now no one wants him and he owes the Sixers a lot of money. The Sixers team chemistry has been better than ever without him, and they're going to be big contenders this season.
• Lebron James could be out for 4-8 weeks? We aren’t really sure. Lebron has an abdominal strain, whatever that means. The Lakers head coach said he will be out for at least a week but others are stirring the pot saying it could be much longer. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s playing next week like nothing happened, but we have to remember he is getting kind of old and some injuries can take a toll on the veterans.
• Poor Zion Williamson is getting fat-shamed. The 6’6, 21-year-old is getting dragged for looking like a butterball (300 lb?!) on the court due to time off from injuries. Major Charles Barkley vibes. No one is telling Zion he needs to get in shape and he could face significant foot and knee problems if he doesn’t. He is still projected as a standout player, but he is definitely going to need to lose some weight.
• Look out for Raptors rookie Scottie Barnes, who is going to be very good this year and should be on everyone’s radar as he progresses through the league. The 20-year-old has shown that although he is young, he knows what he is doing. After the Raptors played the Brooklyn Nets, Kevin Durant had nothing but great things to say about the youngster and said he’s only going to get better and better as he gains more experience.
• And as always queens, if you want to just casually throw out some basketball knowledge five teams that are looking good so far and will most likely continue to do well this season are: Bucks, Nets, Jazz, Suns, and the Lakers 🏀

March Madness is in Full Swing - What Is Going On? — twenty2
Did we really think the NCAA was going to let Covid-19 steal another $600 million dollar basketball tournament from them? Of course not. March Madness 2021 officially kicked off on Thursday, March 18th, and just a few days into the tournament, the headlines haven’t stopped. For starters, the women...

Happy Friday guys and gals. As we are inching our way closer to the NFL season (that seems to be going on as planned?!), 68 players have opted OUT of the 2020 season due to coronavirus concerns. The deadline for the final decision was yesterday.
Here's the breakdown of what this means:
𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲, players will only have the opportunity to opt-out if "a close family member gets seriously sick with COVID or if they themselves are newly diagnosed with a high-risk condition." 𝗕𝘂𝘁, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲. spOookyyYY.
𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀 could opt out and receive a $350,000 stipend whereas those less at risk would receive a $150,000 salary advance.
𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 were unscathed by opt-outs: Rams, Falcons, Chargers and Steelers.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘁𝘀, however, got hit with the highest number of guys with 8 opting out. This will be a weird season for them. No Tom Brady, 8 key players down. But Bill Bellycheeks says it's all nbd. lol. The Browns were hit next with 5 players opting out.
𝟮𝟬 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟲8 𝗼𝗽𝘁-𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 were offensive linemen and 10 others were defensive tackles. Those are the guys who are up close and in each other's faces on every play. Can you even blame them?! They're making out with these guys every week and at practice, like no thanks.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲 who isn't playing this year is prob C.J. Mosley - Jets Linebacker. He signed an $85 million dollar deal in 2019, but only played 2 games after a groin injury. Fans were really excited for his return this year buuuut he's out. He cited his concern for his son and the virus and honestly, we don't blame him.
𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻? Who knows. As of now, it's looking like yes? But, we expect to see postponed games, cancelations, last minute roster changes. It's unprecedented times people.
