Low back pain does not mean to stop. The way out is through, provided you manage load, stay just under the pain threshold, and train with intent ⚖️

A proper warm-up is essential. Controlled mobility, targeted core activation, and progressive loading earn you the right to train 🔧

Adjust the session, not your consistency 📈

I am running the Bank of America Chicago Abbott World Marathon Majors in October in support of the American Cancer Society (ACS), with a fundraising goal of $3,000.

My grandad passed away from cancer, so this race is personal. I have also worked with the ACS in the past, and it is a well-run and impactful organization.

Running is a “we” sport. Community is what carries people through hard things, in training and in life. I would genuinely appreciate your support.

Sub 40 in the 10K came from strength training combined with real cardiovascular work.

Lift + run and you improve running economy, reduce injury risk, raise VO₂ max, and build fitness that actually supports long term health and longevity.

Run form reality check 🏃‍♂️
I’m a heel striker and that’s not the problem.

The limiter is how I’m getting there: insufficient knee lift, poor front-side mechanics, and contact drifting too far out front 👟

The solution isn’t forcing a strike change it’s earning better positions through strength, stiffness, and coordination 🏋️‍♂️⚙️

2026 = less chasing cues, more building the engine.
A lot of gym work ahead💪 🎯
