In November of 2013, there was a roller disco party held at the old Sacred Heart Church on Fell and Fillmore Streets in San Francisco. The place had been lying dormant for nearly 10 years when David Miles, San Francisco's "GodFather of Skate" got his crew together, cleaned up the place and transformed it into what is now the Church of 8 Wheels - San Francisco Roller Disco!!! Come to the opening of a brand-new skate experience the Church of 8 Wheels will be presenting with the County of Marin as we do Roller Disco Daze!!! The grand opening is Friday, July 17, 2026 and we want to invite everyone to come celebrate. We'll be spreading rolligion 5 days a week until Aug. 16, 2026. Best of all ADDMISSION IS FREE!!! (skate rentals $5)

The Fillmore district in San Francisco was lit last night as Keyshia Cole filmed a new skate video at the Church of 8 Wheels. I believe it hits the nation next week!!!
