Mao Ying Kuen International Federation was founded in 2016 in Miami by Sifu Ronald Mesia (Leung Zhang Wei). The federation is a martial arts entity that unites different martial arts styles and respectfully separates different lineages of traditional and modern Chinese Martial Arts, such as Chi Wu Men, Bak Fu Pai, Bak Mei Pai, Tai Chi, Qigong, Wing Chun, Kuo Shu, Shuaijiao, Jeet Kune Do, modern Wushu, and Sanda.

Iron Palm training is not a game. 🥥

Breaking a coconut with the palm is not about showing off strength or feeding the ego. Imagine this type of power being used carelessly in sparring, competition, or against another human being. This kind of conditioning develops serious force capable of causing real damage.

Tit Sau Jeung (Iron Palm), Tit Sau Kuen (Iron Fist), and Tit Kiu Sau (Iron Arm) training are part of an old hardcore tradition built through discipline, pain, patience, and control. Beyond physical power, this training teaches structure, focus, precision, body mechanics, and responsibility.

For this reason, these methods should never be taught to people with bad intentions or unstable character. True Kung Fu is not about hurting others. It is about self-defense, self-control, preservation, and protecting life when necessary.

An important part of this training is the proper use of Dit Da Jow (跌打酒), the traditional herbal liniment used in Chinese martial arts. Dit Da Jow helps support recovery, circulation, conditioning, and long-term care of the hands and body after impact training. Serious conditioning without proper recovery can permanently damage the body.

Thank you my Sifu for teaching me the way, preserving these traditional methods, and passing down knowledge that today is becoming increasingly rare. True Kung Fu is more than fighting. It is discipline, responsibility, sacrifice, and character.

This combination focuses on offensive pressure, angle changes, and maintaining balance while transitioning between strikes. The sequence begins with a jab and uppercut to create an opening and force the opponent to react without losing the connection (Kiu Sau 橋手). From there, the 45-degree step becomes the key element of the combination, allowing the fighter to change the angle, stay balanced, and generate stronger body mechanics for the follow-up attacks.

Using the angle step correctly helps avoid staying directly in front of the opponent while setting up the Zheng Deng Tui (正蹬腿) Front Thrust Kick. The combination finishes with a low roundhouse kick known as Hou Bian Tui (后鞭腿) or low whip kick variation, attacking the opponent’s structure while continuing the offensive flow and pressure.

This drill is designed to teach fighters how to move, strike, maintain pressure, and control positioning without breaking their structure or balance, which are some of the most important principles in Sanda

🥊 Basic but effective. In this video, I’m teaching a fundamental Sanda punch combination built around timing, level changes, and clean ex*****on. We work a high-low-high jab sequence, where the low jab is used as a trap to draw the opponent’s block and create the opening for the cross. ⚡

By targeting high, then low, then high again, you force reactions and disrupt their defense. Once they commit to the block, the cross comes through the opening with power and precision. We also add the defensive block into the sequence so students learn offense and defense together. 💥

This type of drill develops coordination, rhythm, fight IQ, and the ability to create opportunities instead of waiting for them. Strong basics create strong fighters. 🐉

I’m proud to introduce my new line of Dit Da Jow, with the approval of my Sifu , we created under Chi Wu Men Athletic Association. Each formula is prepared with traditional herbs and made for real training needs, following the same methods we use in our lineage.

Here are some of the purposes of our formulas
• Iron Palm conditioning
• Iron Fist conditioning
• Iron Arm and forearm hardening
• Strengthening tendons and ligaments
• Reducing swelling after impact
• Easing muscle and joint soreness
• Improving circulation in bruised areas
• Supporting recovery from minor sprains
• Relaxing tight muscles after heavy drills

These recipes are produced in very limited batches. Each formula requires a minimum of three months of marinating, so the current stock is limited and takes time to replenish. Every bottle is prepared with care and respect for the traditional process.

Kung Fu is more than a fighting art. It is a path that shapes discipline, patience, and character. Every movement begins with intention. Every step trains the mind to stay calm under pressure and to react with clarity.

In traditional training, students learn to respect the mou gwun (武館) as a place of growth. They practice hei (氣) control, correct posture, and the humility needed to learn from both success and mistakes. Progress is not measured only by strength, but by consistency and the ability to stay focused when challenges appear. The goal is to improve a little every day and become stronger from the inside out.

Kung Fu is not just something you do. It becomes part of who you are.
