Calling all beginners - is hosting an "intro to inversions" workshop on Sunday April 23! 🤸♀️
Are you curious about learning how to headstand and arm balance but don’t know where to start, or are unsure about trying them out during classes?
This 2-hour inversion and arm balance workshop led by Lizzie is designed for beginners who want to start their inversion practice in a safe, controlled, and fun setting.
The workshop will focus on 3 poses: Headstand, crow pose, hurdler’s pose
This workshop is for anyone who:
Considers themselves new and curious about arm balances and inversions
Looking to restart an inversion practice
May find inversions and arm balances daunting or frustrating
What to expect:
A small group where each participant has ample wall space (no need to kick up in the middle of the room)
A supportive, encouraging setting and group designed to work past the fear of getting upside down
Walk away afterwards with the body awareness and confidence to begin inverting on your own

Join yogabeachSF, Rachel Mardoian and Dr. Karinn Casey, Founder of Acupop, for a very special Friday Night In at Yogabeach on Friday, November 11th from 6-7:30pm!
The experience will be filled with nourishing movement, therapeutic ear seeds tapping into reflexology, aromatherapy, optional group acupuncture & nurturing rest, together in community.
Rachel is a 500-Hour Certified Yoga Instructor that has been teaching at Yogabeach since 2018. She strives to facilitate community & lead a practice that is joyful and inclusive, welcoming all people to enjoy moving the beautiful gift that is their body! She and Dr. Karinn, Founder of Acupop, both live in the Outer Sunset.
AcuPop is an on-site acupuncture and wellness POP-UP operating in the Event, Retreat, and Corporate spaces. Offering service in San Francisco and greater Northern California, each collaboration is curated to reflect the culture and aesthetic of its partnership. They accommodate individual and larger group sessions.

Foundations of Flow WORKSHOP: Building a Base for Advanced Yoga Postures
Join 500-Hour Certified Yoga Instructor Rachel Mardoian & yogabeachSF for Foundations of Flow: a workshop series focusing on foundational yoga postures.
Building a base for advanced postures is important! This is an opportunity to learn, fine tune and level up your yoga basics. Dive into the nitty gritty with your neighbors, friends & yoga community. Invest in yourself to advance your group yoga class and personal practice variations.
We'll focus on chaturanga (+ jumping back to it!), crow pose & warrior 1, 2 & 3, as well as walk through the basics of a sun salutation. All levels are welcome - from beginners, to seasoned yogis looking to refine their practice.

Join for a 2 hour inversion workshop to learn how to headstand, forearmstand, and handstand with ease, confidence, and safety. Lizzie is an E-RYT 300-hour certified yoga instructor who has been teaching for 6+ years. She has a passion for teaching dynamic vinyasa flow classes with an emphasis on strength, creativity, and inversions. (You likely often see her upside down while practicing at in other instructors' classes at Yoga Beach!)
In this workshop, you'll learn multiple variations of headstand, forearmstand, and handstand and will practice how to enter and exit from these shapes safely. No current inversion practice is needed to participate, and the class is open to all students who have taken at least 6 months of yoga classes and are interested in practicing the benefits of getting upside down.
Bring a mat, small towel, water, and a notebook and pen to class.
Space is limited and preregistration is required. See you there!
