Near the end, Jey seemed to be in control at times: he hit a superkick, a spear, and even a top-rope splash. But despite that, LA Knight kicked out and turned things around — he caught Jey in a “crucifix pin” and scored the pinfall to win

After the loss, Jey looked visibly upset. According to reports, he stormed around the ring, then destroyed a ringside “Prime Energy” drink cart and hurled steel ring steps — clearly lashing out in frustration. Backstage he appeared melancholic, and noticeably didn’t do his usual energetic “Yeet” — signaling that the match, and the loss, hit him hard
