Here & Now celebrates 10 years of Petits Pas through a heartfelt mix of theater and dance — the school’s signature artistic language.

Set during a joyful anniversary dinner, the show brings together guests from the past whose encounters awaken memories of previous creations and open conversations about our modern world.

Through a playful and poetic journey, Here and Now explores imagination, connection, and transformation. The dance sequences blend highlights from past performances into something new and vibrant, reflecting the creative spirit that defines Petits Pas.

In the end, the performance becomes a celebration of community, growth, and presence — a reminder that what truly matters is being here and now.

✨November 25’ Observation Classes are over! ✨

Petits Pas would like to give a huge bravo to all our students for their hard work and beautiful progress (to be continued 😉).

Dear parents,
We hope you enjoyed this special opportunity to watch your child dance, a moment that comes only once a year (in addition to our annual show, of course). We are incredibly proud of every dancer, and we hope you are too!

You may have caught a glimpse of each group’s work in our Stories, and now, enjoy these group photos from our November observation classes.

Thank you for being part of the Petits Pas family.
See you next year for the next Observation Classes! 🫶🏼

Petits Pas was proud to be a community partner for the 2025 San Francisco Dance Festival. We hope you were filled with emotions by the beautiful films presented and that dance, in all its forms, made your heart beat faster. 🎬💃🏻🕺🏻

BTW, do you recognize this theater? 😉

✨ Petits Pas is very proud to be a community partner of the San Francisco Dance Film Festival 2025!

Our new studio manager, Melanie, attended a meeting to present and represent Petits Pas. Yesterday, following a touching speech by and SF ballet principal dancer , the screening of Farewell Opera, a documentary by Yonathan Kellerman, was a great success.

Some of our Petits Pas teachers and students had the chance to witness the journey of three dancers preparing for their final performance, a truly moving experience that brought a few tears to the audience. 🩰💫

(Not-so) fun fact: the retirement age at the Paris Opera Ballet is just 42 years old, for both women and men.

Ballet demands hard work, yet it gives back a joy unlike anything else; the joy of defying gravity, even for just a moment. Here is our beautiful Ballet 4 group practicing on pointe 🩰✨Léna (and sometimes Claire) teaches pointe every Thursday!

Did you know? Pointe dancing first appeared with Amalia Brugnoli in 1823 and became iconic thanks to Marie Taglioni in 1832!

🌟 Jumping for Joy 🌟 Who said that Ballet can’t be fun? (slide to see a proof!)

What a journey. What a weekend.
We are incredibly proud of every single performer who brought « Through the Dark » to life on stage. Your courage, passion, and raw emotion lit up the room and reminded us all of the power of movement, story, and heart.

Thank you for stepping into the shadows and dancing your way through. You moved us. You inspired us. You shined.
