We are a couple chasing their dreams of racing motorcycles together

Been putting some work into bikes lately. Picked up an '04 CR125 and rebuilt it from the ground up, all new motor components, forks rebuilt, and Shock rebuilt. Got to ride it for the first time last weekend, what a blast. Always loved two strokes.

After that got the harley back on the bench and started digging into getting it hooligan ready. Was able to mount the tank and position the external fuel pump, rerout and mount the radiator filler, and build the sub frame for the seat. Still lots left to do bit I am really enjoying this fabricating thing.

Second to last race weekend of the season was Isla's strongest performance yet. She has been making so much progress this year!
Saturday was the day that she was able to solidify herself for the championship in the 50cc Beginner class by winning her race and she showed some promise against the kids in the open class.
Sunday was a carbon copy of the day before with consistent speed and performance. She won the 50cc Beginner Class.
Looking forward to hopefully more seat time in the near future to keep the progress going.

Thank you to all of you who were chearing for her and helping us this weekend, it means so much to have such a wonderful community around her and us.

These JGP-R Helmets are the real deal! After being on the bike for 4+ hours, and having taken one good spill where unfortunately my head hit the ground I had no issues. If you don't know, having a helmet on for that long of a time can really put a kink in your neck. That was not the case here. I was comfortable and kept safe. THANK YOU . It helps to when you have your hooked up keeping you connected.

🤗 AMAZING! This is exactly what I meant by my last post.

I took the kids to .elsinore.motorsports.park for our usual Wednesday ride day and they wanted to ride the Flat Track but it was locked. I knew that this gentleman had opened it before, so I kindly asked if he’d open it for the kids. Right away he was like of course! He then proceeded to hang out and encourage the kids. He suggested that they mock race and that he has some left over awards they can have for their efforts and to up their excitement. Then he went even further to give them each a dollar and the award! We are so blessed and I can’t thank everyone enough who takes their time out to encourage and help the kids. If anyone knows who this is, I feel terrible that I did not get his name, but I want to make sure he gets the recognition he deserves.

Here’s to all those supporting parties behind any riding or racing effort. Whether you’re a parent, family member, friend, neighbor, sponsor, or just a trackside acquaintance, you are an important part of shaping the next generation of riders.
I go back and look through my photos and it is impressive to see where my own kids have thrived from being involved in this sport. It teaches them independence, confidence, respect, and most of all friendship. I will do anything I can to support them and help nurture their passion, but I know they would not keep doing it if it wasn’t for everyone else around them. The first picture is a direct representation of this. There’s generations of support as my dad is taking a picture of me taking a picture of my daughter. I love everything about this sport and thank all of you who are a part of it and help support it.

Special thanks to:

• My Friends

Took home my first “W” with on Saturday night in the Open Expert class. Wasn’t sure how my hand would hold up after an incident the weekend before at the Stateline Supermoto race. Still not sure what’s totally wrong with it, going in today for some X-rays, but I was able to make it happen.

The kids had a great night as well. We have been working on the basics lately and been trying to keep those feet on the pegs unless absolutely necessary. By the end of the night both Owen and Isla were going faster than I have seen them go and they didn’t put a foot down at all. Kinda scared me a couple time with their corner speed.

📣 Got a phone call on Friday night and was asked to join a team for Saturdays Perris Speedway flat track teams races. I wasn’t too sure I would be up for it after injuring myself the weekend prior desert riding, but I decided why not, pains just temporary right. Our team of and was a last minute entry for the already busy teams schedule.

The first heat was a bit chaotic, as this would be the first time we rode this track in some time. Justin got off to a great start taking the lead, Zack and I found ourselves in P3 and P4. Unfortunately, coming out of turn 4 Zack’s bike bogged and parked him on the exit just in front of Me. With not much time to react I attempted to miss him and just clipped his handlebar with my pant leg causing him to go down. We were able to make it out of this heat P1 for Justin, P3 for me, and after remounting P6 for Zack. This gave us 8 points.

Heat 2 went much better as we all got off to a good start and we’re able to just click off our laps and wind up going 1-2-3 giving us a much needed 12 points.

Having a total of 20 points we were able to squeak into the final round. In the final We started off strong running 1-2-3 until the gremlin came back for Zack and his bike bogged causing him to lose one position. Luckily we were all able to stay upright and make it to the 🏁 and take the 🏆.

Thanks to for the 🔥kit.
