With school out, summer activities get under way in San Jacinto and Valle Vista this week (June 8-12).
🏀 Monday, June 8 and Wednesday, June 10 -- Youth Open Gym Basketball, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Michael Paul Gym, San Jacinto. Ages 17 and younger. Free.
⛹️ Tuesday, June 9 and Thursday, June 11 -- Backyard Games, 1:00-3:00 p.m. Michael Paul Gym, San Jacinto. Ages 8-13. Free.
🎨 Wednesday, June 10, Craft Day, 10:00-11:30 a.m. Valle Vista Community Center. Ages 17 and younger. Free.
🏐 Friday, June 12 -- Deadline to register for Volleyball Camp, which will be June 15, 17 and 19 at the Michael Paul Gym. Ages 8 to 10 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and ages 11-13 from noon to 2:00 p.m. The fee is $10 per player.
Parents are required to sign a release form and provide an ID for minors to participate. Children 9 and younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Temperatures are predicted to be in the low 80s this weekend, perfect weather to take a dip in the Diamond Valley Aquatic Center swimming pool.
Valley-Wide's pool will be open Saturday and Sunday, June 6 and 7, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Starting next weekend, June 13, the pool will be open daily until August.

Join Valley-Wide Rec tonight, Friday, June 5 at Rancho Bella Vista Park in French Valley for a free movie under the stars. We will be screening "Surf's Up".
Be sure to bring something to sit on, snacks and the family for a fun-filled evening. We will provide free popcorn while supplies last. The movie will start when it gets dark.
The park is at 31757 Browning St., Murrieta.

THE POOL IS OPEN!! Make a splash this weekend at the Diamond Valley Aquatic Center! Open swimming will be available May 30-31 and June 6-7 before the pool opens daily starting June 12.

Looking to show off your skills or just looking to have a little fun on the courts? Youth Basketball is back! Registration for the next fun season of Youth Basketball in Hemet and San Jacinto is underway and we are ready for all the great games to be played.
