As many Southern California participants of the Trail Ride expected, the ride is taking a year off and will be back in 2025. There was simply not enough time (due to family needs and other factors) to create the safe and fun experience that is known as the SOBOBA TRAIL RIDE. It is with great regret and sincere apologies that we announce the cancellation of the 2022 Edition of the Soboba Trail Ride.
When we set the February 27th date for the prospective 2022 ride there was positive movement in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. However, those moments of hope gave way to contagious viral variants plus other social and logistical challenges that prevent us from presenting this year’s Soboba Trail Ride in a safe manner for our riders, volunteers, and residents of the reservation.
We ask you again to accept our apologies as we struggle to find the best way to plan and execute future rides – perhaps later in 2022 and in 2023 during the Soboba Trail Ride’s usual pre-March slot.
Many riders have joined our email list – eager to learn about the ride. We thank these new riders and our veteran riders and respectfully ask all of you to watch for news through our email system or social media outlets so we can let you know when Covid-19 becomes endemic so we can announce events and accept ride entries.
Please continue to be a supporter of the Powersports industry and its events. Most are like our ride; presented by families through volunteer efforts. We also pray that you and your family find health and happiness in this new year.
We hope to see you on the Rez soon,
Bob & Darlene Graziano and the Soboba Trail Ride Team

Star of ON ANY SUNDAY helped create the SOBOBA TRAIL RIDE
Fifty years ago movie goers around the world were introduced to motorcycling with all of the excitement and fun that two wheels delivered. ON ANY SUNDAY was crafted by master filmmaker Bruce Brown and that award-winning documentary was built around the best off-road rider ever; our beloved Malcolm Smith.
Just a few years short of helping Bob Graziano and others found the Soboba Trail Ride, Malcolm's grin and skills drew a generation to motorcycling (and his dealership! - rear more at https://www.sobobarides.biz/history ).
When we gather for the 2022 ride and our Grand Marshal Malcolm Smith addresses the riders' meeting be thankful that he, Bruce, Mert and that Harvey Mushman guy helped pave the way for our great sport.

Looking ahead to the tentative date of February 27, 2022 the Soboba Trail Ride team under the leadership of Bob Graziano and filled with extraordinary riders like Thierry Barry are starting to layout and pre-ride new trails.
In half-a-year we'll be together in the Trail Ride paddock, so get your bike ready, keep yourself and your family healthy so can roll knobbies on the Rez' once again.

Thank you for your patience as we tried to find a safe way to run our 2021 ride and then sticking with us through the pandemic as we had to postpone the event to 2022. With the positive effects of the vaccines and social distancing we can now set a tentative date of February 27th 2022 for the next Soboba Trail Ride and future events.
Thanks for everyone who has signed up for our email list - you'll be the first to hear about ride news. Visit the updated www.sobobarides.biz for more information.
