Huge shout-out to Jaelyn Dao for making her first ever Far Westerns cut at just 9 years old! 💥
She crushed a blistering 1:16.95 in her first ever 100 Fly 🦋 and didn’t stop there — adding another Fars cut in the 100 Free with a 1:07.68 at the MAC Block Party today!

Big congrats to Hance Liang for qualifying for the upcoming Spring AGC in March! 💥 He crushed it at the Valley Splash C/B/A meet with qualifying times in the 50 Free and 100 Free!
Jaelyn Dao also made the cut with her 50 Free and 200 Free — amazing swims all around! 🔥🏊♂️🏊♀️

First meet of the year ✅
This weekend marked the 2026 Brian Malik Z1S Championship Swim Meet, one of the most fun meets of the season where teams score not only on swimmer performance, but also on team spirit 💥
Against teams our size, Goosemonkey would have finished 2nd out of 4, coming very close to 1st overall. Every race and every cheer counted.

• Hance led the boys with 22 points
• Bernice topped the girls with 35 points 🏆
So much fun with teammate face painting and especially the relays 🏊♂️💨
Blessed to see our senior swimmers guiding the new and little ones, and the non-stop cheering during every swim was absolutely incredible.
Incredible turnout and energy all weekend. GSMY showed up loud and proud in yellow headbands, wristbands, and socks 💛💙

Block Party Meet with Swim South Bay 💦 Great day for new swimmers to gain experience and for seasoned ones to chase new times! Perfect weather, amazing team spirit, and the best part — the relay at the end, where each team had at least one 8 & under swimmer. So fun and cute for all! 🏊♀️💙
Kicked off the 2025 short course swim season this weekend with 38 Goosemonkey swimmers in the water! 🏊♂️✨ Lots of time drops, lots of smiles, and so much team spirit. 💙 A warm welcome to our new swimmers — Insar, Define, Aadhya, and Atharv — excited to see you grow with the team! 🙌 Time to make new friends and reconnect with old meet friends. 💪🐒💦
