Last Sunday, we welcomed Pro Wrestling Revolution to the world of Roller Derby and man, were we impressed with EVERYONE!
TONIGHT we want to welcome our Roller Derby fans and community to the Revolution! Come out to support Pro Wrestling Revolution’s one and only Karisma () in an all-women’s match at the Gordon Biersch Night Market, from 5pm-9pm! You won’t want to miss this event!

Are you curious about roller derby, want to learn derby skills, and/or have always wanted to try it but don’t know where to start? Our upcoming SVRD Start Up Days may be for you!
Join us for one of our two 4-week sessions! We will teach you derby skills and drills such as: how to skate, how to stop, how to fall safely, proper derby form, lateral drills, and more!
Our first Start Up Days session begins this Sunday, July 9!
Our second 4-week session will begin Sunday, September 10.
When: Sundays 7-10pm
Where: The Plex (800 Embedded Way San Jose)
Cost: $40 (that’s $10 per practice session!)
What to bring: quad skates, mouth guard, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guard, helmet

We had a blast skating around and handing out flyers for our upcoming home game on July 22 at , and our upcoming Start Up Days (4 week roller derby 101 sessions starting July 9).

A huge 💚THANK YOU💚 to everyone who contributed to our skate-a-thon fundraiser. With your support we were able to surpass our $5,000 goal, and take home over $7,000 and counting!
These funds are truly game-changing for a nonprofit, pay-to-play sports league like ours.
If you haven’t yet completed your pledged payment, your skater will be reaching out soon to update you on their lap count, provide payment instructions, and receipt information.

3563 total laps were skated last night at our first-ever skate-a-thon and we had a BLAST! 🎉
We’re still calculating our fundraising grand total but it’s safe to say we blew our $5,000 goal out of the water!
Thank you SO much to all who donated, pledged, shared this event, spectated, and tuned into the livestream. Thank you for supporting SVRD! 💚🖤
And shoutout to our fundraising committee for organizing this momentous event, who not only came up with the idea but also made TONS of spreadsheets to keep track of each individual skater's pledges, donations, skate-a-thon heat, and lap count.
So all that being said… let’s make this an annual thing? 👀
