Starting my day off with a good hard workout makes me smile. If it doesn't for you, keep doing it until it does. Consistency will payoff. Stick with your goals and if your workout doesn't make you smile the fact that you were consistent should.

Week is going well. I have been busier than expected, so not really feeling the stress relief I was hoping for. However, we did go on a great family bike ride last night and the views brought so much needed calm.
Balancing exercise and self-care is crucial for overall well-being. I love working out, but I recognize the importance of managing stressand exercise is stress! Due to recent stressors that have compromised my gym progress, I've decided to take a week off from exercise and focus on walking, healthy eating, and daily meditation. My goal is to feel rejuvenated by the end of the week, despite a busy schedule. I want to be able to show up as my best self for my family. Join me in prioritizing self-care and share your strategies!

Workout like you have everything to GAIN 🚫 not loose. I love this concept. So many people focus on loosing weight, loosing what they don't like about themselves, but there are so many more benefits that our bodies gain from strength training. Strength training can contribute to better sleep, better hormone balance, correcting blood sugar, strengthening bones, and even fighting cancer!

The best part of my job is getting to work with amazing women everyday. While it is my job to inspire them, they are constantly inspiring me. Everyday I am impressed with the graceful way they navigate the challenges of balancing work, motherhood, and the ups and downs of life. I'm so lucky to get to share a part of their journey through life.

Cottage cheese gets a bad rap from many people, but I happen to love it! I enjoy it topped with blueberries, pineapple, or for a more savoury flavor-cherry tomatoes and everything bagel seasoning. Not only does it taste delicious, but it is high in protein and super convenient.

I love mixing all the leftover vegetables from dinners and whatever grain-in this case quinoa, and tossing it together with some greens to make a harvest bowl. I then top it with Trader Joe's Green Goddess Dressing. It goes well with everything and really ties it together to make delicious nutritious lunch.
