This week, we had a very special visit from our local park ranger, who taught our campers about how park rangers help keep our parks safe while protecting the wildlife we see outdoors. He brought different uniforms and gear to show the variety of jobs park rangers do each day, and the campers even got to try them on!
Our campers also had the chance to test out the water hose on the ranger's truck and beep the emergency horn used in the parks. It was such a fun and memorable experience! ๐ฟ๐ฆ

Miss Sonia, a Physician Assistant, visited our classroom to teach our campers about the importance of regular checkups and what to expect during a visit to the doctor's office. The campers enjoyed reading a kid-friendly book about what a Physician Assistant does and learned that going to the doctor doesn't have to be scary! ๐ฉบ
Miss Sonia also brought a stethoscope, giving each camper the opportunity to listen to their heartbeats.โค๏ธThank you, Miss Sonia, for taking the time to visit our classroom and teach the campers about the importance of staying healthy and taking care of their bodies.๐๐ผ
